You know who wouldn't jump at it? The Reds. Hard to determine the value since it was also a salary dump deal... but you could argue the best player the Braves got back for Kimbrel was Matt Wisler. McKinney is likely a much better prospect. And he'll probably also be MLB ready sometime next year, is a LF'er, and wouldn't ya know it, Marlon Byrd is a FA after this season and the Reds will need a LF'er. They might not jump at just McKinney, but it likely wouldn't take much more than adding someone like Lake and/or Corey Black or something along those lines to get it done if I had to guess. As dominating as Chapman is, he only pitches 60 innings a year. A Top 50 prospect and some moderately useful filler should be more than enough for 1 1/2 years of Chapman. And McKinney might have a chance to be a Top 25 prospect by year's end if he starts hitting for some more power at AA, which I imagine he will before the year's over.
