  1. I know it's cliche to say that way-early mock drafts are dumb, but it doesn't change the fact that they're still dumb.
  2. I feel like if anyone ever actually stood up to KG, he'd get his butt whooped. And I'd pay good money to see it.
  3. GEOVANY SOTO. I suppose now is not the time.
  4. And it's going to be very, very, very tough for the Bulls to win without Gordon. Especially with Salmons feeling gimpy. They just won't have anyone besides Rose who can score.
  5. Nevertheless, we're interested in what all 149 percent of players will do.
  6. He's in decline, sure. "Falling off a cliff" might be a bit extreme, but the fact is that he's logged almost 40,000 minutes in his career (as a comparison, he's only about 400 minutes behind Shaq for his career). He can't have too much left in the tank. Here's his last three years, per 36 minutes, just as a reference point. http://i39.tinypic.com/2iixvu8.jpg
  7. How does a team accidentally sign someone? Obviously I meant the discovery of the fact was by accident. I figured as much. The phrasing just made me chuckle.
  8. I think the 90s Bulls would have swept these Celtics, even with Garnett. That's nuts. Probably. I mostly wrote the post so you'd read it and get upset.

  10. Coffee-poop is a demon.

  12. I don't think you understand how much worse things could be.
  13. It wasn't, because Scalabrine flopped back before Rose made contact with him.
  14. He's been caught stealing twice. Every game?
  15. Completely agree. I think Rose is early-career Steve Francis with a decent jump shot. That sounds lame because of how Francis finished his career, but would anyone be upset if Rose averaged 24, 9 and 6 for the next decade or so? if it comes with a sub-43% FG, yes Sorry - my "decent jump shot" comment was meant to show that Rose is clearly more efficient than Francis. My fault.

  17. I want to get drunk with you someday. I bet it's a riot.
  18. Huh? Noah has been outstanding so far in the playoffs, so I'm not sure what your beef is. In fact, he's played great basketball for most of the season, especially after the All-Star break. The Bulls have enough problems defending, so I'd hate to see their defense without Noah.
  19. can a coach be fired in the middle of a playoff series? How the HowryNeifiVeteransCommittee does Vinny end up without a time out AGAIN at the end of regulation? What a moron. Also, when the Bulls were up 109-104, ti would have been nice to have Tyrus on the floor instead of Brad Miller's carcass, which could barely jump at that point.
  20. Those seem like small odds.
  21. Name them. Me Tree IMB Rocket TT SSR Sulley Raisin Tim 1908 Wolf Seth Vance NPC Beertown Butters Banedon JR Snood Jersey abuck anze e2s mojo swordsman nilodnayr laura biittner jon fred GR This list is hilarious for a lot of reasons, and I hate to pick on any one poster in particular, but the thought of Sulley running the Cubs clubhouse made me laugh out loud.
  22. Soto has to be hurt still. Give him another few days' rest and let him get back to full strength. He doesn't look right up there.
  23. You never know.
  24. There are questions about 95 percent of baseball players, every season. Naming worst-case scenarios for a bunch of Cubs doesn't really show anything. I'm not sure what he listed up there was a worst case scenario. Soto having a sophomore slump isn't worst case. Soto missing tons of time and sucking is worst case. Lee continuing his late career decline isn't worst case, it's most likely. Fontenot can't hit lefties, and Miles is the only other MI option, where's the worst case? Sorry, I shouldn't have said "worst case." I just meant that it's pointless to name a bunch of players and say what could go wrong. That can be done with any team, and it doesn't prove anything.
