  1. If? Implies they are being cheap. They can't really "be cheap" though. They have the spend the $$$.
  2. Biggs gets really hung up on stupid crap like this. He spent like three weeks last year lamenting the James Starks draft day thing.
  3. Is Soriano a caveman or something here?
  4. Hey it's a good thing the Bulls didn't give up on that pick and roll. Via Synergy Sports on Twitter
  5. Thankfully we have advanced stats that say otherwise. But, LeBron's close. I admit I don't know a lot about advanced basketball stats, but do they take into account the ways that the league has changed since Jordan played? IE: Rule changes, expansion, dominant teams in the West, etc? The hand check rule would probably be the biggest difference
  6. Like I said earlier, even if his physical skills don't improve, he'll be a better player simply by improving his decision making. And really, you don't think a 22 year old can even slightly improve his jump shot over the next 4-5 years? C'mon.
  7. most 22 year olds with nba talent are definitely not trying to lead their team to the final four. That's not what he said. It also isn't relevant to my overall point, which is that Rose will get better.
  8. Its insane to say that this is the best season Rose will have. He was one of the 5-6 best players in the NBA this year at an age where most kids are trying to lead their team to the final four. Even if his shooting and other physicals skills stay exactly the same - and I don't know why they would - he'll improve greatly just by getting more experience and making better decisions.
  9. geez sully. go take a walk or get a drink or have sex with a woman or something. you sound pathetic.
  10. So they actually ran it LESS THAN the first couple games and this guy says they should of abandoned it completely? They were down 2-1 by a slim margin going into this game and a play that is 15% is the cause of their latest loss which they had the ball the final possesion? If they abandon the PNR completely that would be freaking jacked up. I don't know what your point is. That the Bulls should keep trying something that hasn't worked for them?
  11. I still think Thibs is a very good coach, but this is damning.
  12. he's better than Keith Bogans The biggest gripe we have heard about the Bulls is that they don't have a guy who can create his own shot and Crawford can definitely do that. He's a bad defender and only a 41% career shooter. He's fine as a sixth man type, but he's not good enough to put the Bulls over the top.
  13. Why do people think Jamal Crawford is going to solve anything?
  14. Sure. He's also the same age LeBron was when he averaged 25/8/8 in the playoffs and dragged a team featuring LARRY HUGHES as its second-best player to the NBA Finals.
  15. Quick, someone get Mike Bibby in a room with Gloria James!
  16. It makes me nervous. Crawford would have no problem sending LeBron and Wade to the line 15 times each.
  17. I hope this doesn't mean he ends up taking 30 shots.
  18. That's not factoring in free throws, right?
  19. Good post. Along those lines, Bulls aren't helping themselves by setting a ball screen for Rose on most possessions. All it does is bring an extra big man up near Rose and get him momentarily trapped and he has a hard time seeing over them to make a good quick pass for an open shot . He really doesnt need a ball screen to beat Bibby off the dribble, so all the screens do is destroy floor spacing.
  20. Well I'm sold. If he loves him so much he could at least learn to spell his name.
  21. your team is down by 1 with 5 seconds to play. Would you rather have LeBron, Wade, Kobe or Dirk take the final shot? Probably Kevin Durant, if we're just talking about putting the ball in the basket.
  22. Then the Bulls are in trouble.
  23. oh, so he can't shoot threes or making layups, MVP MVP MVP Don't forget that he lost on Mother's Day after making a big deal out of how much he loved and admired his mom At least he won't have to worry about disappointing his father on Father's Day. Meanwhile, your father beams with pride that his son is a replacement-level troll in the basketball threads of a baseball message board.
  24. Why are you always talking about field goal percentage? It's like harping on someone's batting average.
  25. Oh don't worry, I'm sure SSR will be around soon with a timely crack about Rose's 3rd grade Iowa Test of Basic Skills score.
