  1. Swift keeps having to cut in the backfield...
  2. Why isnt that a flag? That's worse than a blindside block
  3. That crowd sounds electric
  4. Refs apparently have decided they're blowing the whistle early tonight
  5. Edmunds in even limited snaps should be helpful
  6. 255 PA v LHP with an 884 OPS in MLB 328 v RHP, 638 OPS All between 2016-2019... I dont have stats from Japan, but seems like a guy they think will hit lefties
  7. horsefeathers is a tribute to @Fred Hornkohl, a beloved former poster who passed in 2016, who used hordefeathers in place of profanity. It was the default profanity filter here for a long time (may still be?). Personally, I just type horsefeathers a lot
  8. see, imposed makes it sound like it happens, and then the floor comes later... it's an agreement, nothing can be imposed - it has to be agreed upon. I'm not huge into history, personally... most of what I know of Hoover is that he was a terrible person, specifically a racist horsefeathers. I don't know what to tell you about the posting stuff... the vibe is definitely "look at how smart I am". Read more than you post - the sheer volume of your posts is a lot, and they don't seem to consider the viewpoints of anyone else, just repeat your own... over and over...
  9. You are foolish to think the players would agree to a cap without a floor. The cap my be proposed first, but the players will immediately counter with a floor. No agreement would ever be in place with a cap and no floor. Heck, this is a pointless argument because I'm pretty sure you can find a quote from Tony Clark or whoever that says they will never agree to a cap. Also, you are pretending to know the mindset of Hoyer (and insultingly calling him Hoover for some reason - is it because you think he sucks? or are you comparing him to Herbert Hoover?) and just throwing crap at the wall. People don't want to engage you in conversation because it's like talking to a brick wall that is convinced it's smarter than you.
  10. 1. Yes, the floor would be imposed along with the cap. No way players agree to a cap without a floor. 2. Why on earth do you keep talking about Hoyer's profits? He isn't making money based on how much the Cubs spend. He is almost certainly being told "here is your budget, don't you dare go over" and trying to build the best team within that budget (fair to argue with his strategy) but he's not getting kickbacks from the Ricketts family for spending below budget.
  11. seriously, these owners are making money faster than you can imagine... every single owner in baseball has the ability to spend far beyond the luxury tax level, but they mostly don't because it would cut into their precious profits. A Salary Cap would have to come with a floor, and the players union would likely demand it be way higher than the current LT number...
  12. Would love to see Case Keenum next series... if Caleb gets hurt, season is over
  13. Looked like Delpit even tipped it a bit
  14. Lol, what the horsefeathers was that?
  15. I mean this in the nicest way possible... but I think you're trying way too hard to impress people with how smart you are and you just blather on about stuff that doesn't make any sense
  16. This is not a real person writing. It just can't be.
  17. Texas Tech theoretically has a chance with their defense... but I wouldn't trust their offense to beat any of Indiana, OSU, Georgia or Oregon
  18. I feel pretty confident Sanders will have 2+ turnovers against this defense
  19. The worst part of the whole CFP thing is the weekly rankings that dont actually matter because the committee just moves teams around to fit whatever they want in the end anyway. If the first time you saw a ranking was today, how different would it feel? There would be questions about ND being left out and Bama being in just like now, but the committee wouldn't have to answer for how and why they were switched around.
  20. Fair to say the general talent level at PSU is a bit higher than at ISU. So essentially, he performed at Franklin's level with worse players.
  21. Favorite from that play-off has to be Turkiye, right?
  22. Paraguay, another decent draw
