Best case looks like the Bulls will be a fun offensive team with enough shortcomings that they don't seriously contend for the playoffs (maybe even trade Powell at the deadline for a First round pick?) and fall in that magic lottery range (4-? I forget which place it cuts off at for the higher chance)

I just don't get how you trade #4 and don't get Bedard any help on his wing. He is the centerpiece of this whole organization and he's had to center a bunch of 3rd/4th line guys (Burakovsky, Donato, Bertuzzi, etc.) and/or young dudes with what's probably a 2nd line ceiling (Nazar, Lardis, etc.)
