  1. Paying off small schools to lose to you doesn't seem terribly sporting
  2. the "gimme win" and "small schools getting a million dollars to lose" part of the system is bogus. It's why schools shouldn't be allowed to do their own scheduling
  3. Nothing will prepare them for Alabama better than Indiana St. You're so right. right, they should play oregon so they could be 0-2 instead of 1-1 after 2 games. Who the [expletive] said they should play Oregon? How about Virginia or Ole Miss or Oregon St.? Why does it have to be 1-AA or Top 5 team?
  4. Nothing will prepare them for Alabama better than Indiana St. You're so right.
  5. I had to go there in January for a job. It was a 5 minute walk from the hotel to the venue, and it was 5 of the most miserably cold minutes I've ever experienced. In other words, [expletive] Toledo (esp. since I'll be back next January :x )
  6. paterno? come on. it's the athletic department (won't play fewer than 7 home games each year because they use the profits to fund the rest of the university's athletic programs) and the list of BCS conference teams who play more than one non-pushover outside of conference is pretty short. AD's have come and gone, but the scheduling has stayed consistent. At any rate, Paterno is generally blamed for keeping Pitt off the schedule (a game that fans want to see every year, but the coach/AD has refused to add) Fans want to see lots of stupid [expletive]. What's the benefit? I don't see why a former (and geographic) rivalry is a bad thing. Do you think Illinois vs. Missouri is "stupid [expletive]"?

  9. Opening against the mighty Sycamores of Indiana State! Seriously, Paterno, [expletive] you and your [expletive] scheduling
  10. OSU is in the top 25 because they still have the most talented roster in the Big 10 (outside of maybe Nebraska)?
  11. I'm surprised South Carolina is that low when many people are predicting them to make the SEC title game
  12. Angelo madly scrambling to sign 8 more special teams players to 1-year, $3million deals
  13. Way to spoil Derrek Lee's night and crush the hopes of the Pirates. Stupid Cnbs
  14. Derrek Lee and Ryan Ludwick will lead them to the ring
  15. as long as this team is going into the toilet, why NOT get no-hit by the [expletive] Cardinals?
  16. Unless the Brewers and Cards still have to play the Phillies, while the Pirates get more games with the Astros and Cubs
  17. This is great for no other reason than it keeps Ubaldo away from the Yankees
  18. Is there an equivalent for Firefox? No Script, maybe?
  19. ....is slowing down the site big time recently. While it's "reading google-analytics", I can't click inside a dialog box or type anything. If I stop the page from loading, it disappears to a blank screen.
  20. Have I mentioned that the bullpen is a dumpster fire?
