    I wonder how many refund demands they've received today It says they expect it to be well attended, but if you could get your money back to an end of season game in a lost season lots of people have to consider it.     Isn't that just an exaggerated version of UConn getting in the Fiesta Bowl? It's a much worse version. And FIU went 6-6 this year, not 7-5, my mistake. UConn isn't getting a chance to play for a national title either. WHAT NEXT? A LOSING RECORD GETTING AN NFL PLAYOFF BERTH? Have at it Derwood. State the case for the Rams/49ers deserving a playoff berth. they won their division. Simple, right?

    Why would something like "all conference champs are invited" be a bad thing? 11 conference champions and 5 WC teams sounds fair to me. And if they're so bad they won't make it past the first round, now will they? so they shouldn't be there. then why are they even division 1-A?

    If it got anywhere close to happening, I would guess the NCAA would all of a sudden think a playoff is a great idea, and either set up their own, or get involved and sanction this one. If there were college teams play unsanctioned games for money, can't the NCAA bar that from happening? If anything I'd think they'd find a loophole that says doing something like that strips the athletes of their eligability even if the money isn't going to them. technically speaking, the BCS title game is unsanctioned

    as long as it's not NCAA sanctioned, the money can be split however they want

    It's not devastating. It happened at the best possible time in the schedule, and with Boozer heating up, I think the Bulls will manage fine

    especially with boozer posting up. rose is going to get some open threes. that's what's been happening the past few games and rose has been knocking them down cleanly. I've actually been able to watch their last 2 games and it was almost comical how open he was on most of the threes he took. That shot he drilled from the corner was ridiculous. And TT is right, if he develops that consistent of a jumper, holy crap, how do you defend a guy that quick and strong? You just throw him to the ground when he drives the lane and enjoy not getting called for the foul
