    I dont know if many of the Vikings have any beef with any of the current Bears other than Kreutz and Pat Williams. As much as I want to build up the Vikings and Packers players as gigantic douchebags, they aren't any different than any other NFL team. Maybe they don't have a lot to play for, but I doubt any of them are going out there trying to concuss somebody. They will probably play a little freer out there though, so we need to watch out for that. we also need to stop pretending that the Bears/Vikings or Bears/Packers rivalries are as big as the Vikings/Packers rivalry.

    Are you done yet? Anyway, because of the costs associated with making the field cold weather tolerant I can understand, but it can't be that much more expensive to have concession stands that can operate in cold temps. That just seems weird to me. Are they sticking with the no alcohol policy that I think I heard earlier this week? I'm never done when I see moronic arguments on an issue someone has no f-in clue about. but yes, the Vikings have stated there will be no alcohol sales, although the University gave them that option. Don't know why, but its Ziggy Wilf and his clown posse. What's moronic is that a stadium that is incapable of properly hosting an NFL game is hosting an NFL game

    Consensus is that it's a pretty great stadium. Opposite end of the spectrum from having to play in the dome for the Gophers. great in September and October, maybe. Seems completely inadequate in cold weather yea because they designed it for late January Is it January? Does it never get below freezing during college football season in Minneapolis?

    this stadium sounds like a total disaster. who designed this thing?

    I remember a very good offensive performance against a good Minnesota team on MNF last year with temps close to zero. They're definitely built for speed on offense, and snow really seems to hinder that. But I don't think the offense is slowed by the cold temps themselves. Mike Martz wasn't the OC last year

    East and West would have been best. I can't think of anything else that doesn't sound dumb. I've heard suggestions for "Lakes" and "Plains" and the like, but that really isn't much better.

    The obvious headache is trying to mix polls and conferences. A playoff either needs to go with one or the other. Imagine the NFL's play offs awarding the wildcards to teams via a system of human and computer polls....

    Why can't they be honest and name the divisions "Buckeye" and "Wolverine", since that's the only reason they didn't go geographical?
