Can we PLEASE stop projecting future lineups that are comprised entirely of current Cubs minor leaguers? We aren't the [expletive] Pirates or Royals. The FO damn well better be signing FA's to compliment the top prospects when they feel the window is open for a long postseason run (or trade some of the farm hands for other needs) -

Jeremy Hellickson gave up 1 ER over 108 pitches tonight. Thing is, he only went 4 1/3 innings and walked 7 -
I read that foul ball fact in the local paper the other day and found it very hard to believe. Yeah it repeats that claim in the SI article but I just can't imagine that's true. So I guess we're supposed to believe that in the entirety of his MLB career he's never gotten out in front of a breaking or offspeed pitch.... Sure, they've just been grounded or line drives, not fly balls

Local radio guys had some unbelievable facts about Joey Votto. For example, he has only popped a ball up in the infield once over the past 2 seasons (and none this year). Also, he has only pulled a fly ball foul into the stands ONCE in his entire career (his rookie year).

I voted for W/L Holds are harmless. I dislike saves. It because the stat is stupid, but because managers make decisions based on it. I'm neither here nor there about the others (though I'm surprised batting average wasn't an option)
