I think everybody is aware. If they were then they shouldn't expect them to go away. I just don't see what the Cubs get out of it. No one goes to the games or tunes into the broadcast for the stretch, so why give a free media junket stop for every movie star and musician? -
I think the perception that he doesn't care to play is important. Frankly speaking, he's being a terrible teammate right now. I wonder if any free agents will want to play with him.

I'm amazed by the fact that at least not one journalist/media person hasn't been crucifying him, he seemingly is getting a pass by everyone. [expletive], Dwight took more heat this year for trying to play while he was still injured and work his way through it. It will definitely suck if Columbus misses the playoffs by 1 point, but it's still remarkable that they started out 5-12-2 and are 18-5-5 since. If they finish 9th, the slow start will obviously be the culprit. Hopefully it will motivate them to hit the ground running in 2013-14
