So the Blue Jackets throw a big contract at Horton, even though he needs surgery and will be out through December. While I'm happy to see them be players in the FA market (and even happier that a "name" player is willing to come here), is this the right guy? My knowledge of the Bruins is only the SCF series.
In a season where there are always multiple inter-league series going on, why does MLB still "reset" stats on players who are traded from one league to the other?
I've found this entire season boring. Very few individual story lines (outside of maybe Chris Davis, who still isn't a household name for non-fans). Couple that with a pretty entertaining NBA and NHL playoffs, and there has really been no reason to watch baseball at all
