  1. Penn State trying to pull a third straight win, but Purdue too much down the stretch
  2. http://a.espncdn.com/photo/2015/0312/mlb_u_maddon11_576x324.jpg Awkward photo is awkward
  3. I be the # of responses is similar there as it is here
  4. How far onto the bubble does that push Iowa?
  5. So then what was the point of your original response to me? Just to be a snarky dick? I see you've met gooney
  6. AJ Hawk to Bengals
  7. Frank Gore to Colts
  8. The English language begs for mercy
  9. But what about his grandchildren? Will someone think of them?
  10. I heard somewhere about a deal that would send Cutler to Tennesee, Kap to Chicago, and a 1st and 2nd rounder to San Fran (where they'd presumably draft Mariota)
  11. I've said it before, but it's the best analogy: Thibodeau:Hinrich::Dusty:Neifi
  12. If they're gonna suck, hopefully they suck bad enough to draft a potential replacement for Cutler (since I don't see him lasting much past next year)
  13. It's almost like Mirotic should have been playing more earlier in the season....
  14. Holy [expletive] this game
  15. As the starter or back up to JF? Mentor/pot dealer
  16. Aaron Brooks is........not an efficient scorer
  17. He was [expletive] great at the Cubs Convention
  18. Also, I don't hated Dempster
  19. What part of 0-7 with 2 TO's and 0 Assists dont' you like? Hinrich is the Aaron Miles of basketball
  20. Anthony Mason died at age 48
  21. He was loading his truck
  22. They were paying a guy to not play, and even with the LTIR, he created a hole in the roster. It's not ideal, but the insane run of injuries this season has them desperate for minutes
  23. You sure? I'm pretty sure we got the extra year with him. He started his first game in game 12 of the 1998 season
  24. So do you think it's bold or is it as much of a no-brainer as you're arguing it to be? Either way, nope, not happening. And I counter that they'd look like short sighted idiots (SSR is going to get mad at this post) if they broke camp with him. What are the chances that Bryant actually goes through the actual arbitration process, though, if he's as good as advertised? Isn't it more likely that they will try to buy out those years and lock him up long term for a semi-reasonable deal a la Rizzo?
  25. to quote the guy who commented on your link: "Because Horton's contract was uninsured, so the Blue Jackets were going to have to pay him $30 million over five years whether he played or not. They're not a rich team. So now they pay Clarkson the same amount of real $ they would have paid Horton, but get an actual player (sort of) for the money. They couldn't/wouldn't spend another $5 million on a player to replace Horton with the LTIR cap relief in their lineup."
