They aren't all that dissimilar of offensive players well, last year Frazier was a 4.0 fWAR and Bruce was a 0.8 fWAR

Yup, 1-3 now. And Jan 2, 2017 another at Busch Stadium. I have complete outdoor game fatigue. I didn't even watch yesterday, just followed on my phone just like any other game where I had something to do during it. And now another one? Blah. It is fun watching Wild and now Blues fans get excited about their outdoor games while Hawks fans are completely indifferent. The've definitely taken a novelty and driven it into the ground

Expiring contracts are bad right now. With the cap going up next year, those players will be really expensive to re-sign Certainly doesn't help but didn't stop a big deadline last year. Last year was different. Next year the cap jumps $20 million. It jumps another $20 million the next (I believe). Players with multi-year contracts are now very valuable, as those players are cost controlled heading into an era of huge salary jumps
