  1. Big XII does it I know. And it feels odd. You already had a round robin tournament that should have decided the champion. I know why they play a championship. It just looks less tidy to me without divisions The Big Ten East champ has won the Big Ten title game 5 straight years. Ohio State playing a 4 loss Northwestern instead of rematching with Michigan may have hurt their playoff chances
  2. Big XII does it
  3. I know when the Cubs went all mobile you could still pickup at the booth.. Maybe something similar? I know this is really old fuddy-duddy too, but I'd just call ticketmaster. Yeah, I think that's the next step
  4. I'm trying to buy my dad a pair of tickets for the Citrus Bowl (for Xmas), but Ticketmaster is ONLY offering mobile tickets. My dad is an old fuddy-duddy who doesn't own a smart phone. Does this mean I'm screwed and can't get the tickets? They offer no paper ticket (or even print at home) option
  5. Jim Delaney is considering eliminating divisions in the Big Ten
  6. Damn. That's a brutal read. That is not what I thought I was walking into when I clicked it. Jesus
  7. Every athlete in this damned city (Columbus) does Papa John's commercials. It's gross on many levels
  8. Counterpoint: horsefeathers the rooftop owners
  9. The quotation marks should be around "Hearing"
  10. zero chance
  11. so the Sooners should be able to score enough to at least cover. Man, I dunno. Oklahoma has a terrific offense, but Bama can really strangle teams at times. Ole Miss, bad as they were, were a Top 10 offense and only scored one touchdown (on the first play of the game) and LSU and Mississippi State were shutout. Then you factor in the fact that Oklahoma has one of the worst defenses in the entire country....that’s not a receipe for success. I doubt they cover if Tua is healthy. Offensive/defensive rankings are useful to a point, but Michigan had the #1 defense in the country and got 62 points dumped on them by OSU, so...
  12. I hope the Washington Racial Slurs never have another winning season again
  13. Both playoff games open with double digit point spreads. Yawn
  14. There was a LOT of smoke around this here in Columbus. Not surprised by this at all
  15. Colt McCoy is now the second Redskin QB to break his leg (though not nearly as grisly). Butt Fumble in under center
  16. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that there are a lot of real people who are professional whatevers who aren't verified. Where do you get the idea that he's verified? Welp, I swear when I looked at this link on my phone that he had a checkmark. My bad.
  17. He's a real person, also a professional photographer. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that there are a lot of real people who are professional whatevers who aren't verified.
  18. wait wait wait....the guy who breathlessly yells into the void on Twitter a hundred times a day about everything the Cubs do wrong picks THIS as the ONE THING he supports them over?
  19. Why is Joe Madon's son verified on Twitter?
  20. Apparently Mojo hates beards like he hates shorts and good pizza
  21. I know, Georgia Southern vs. Eastern Michigan is going to be a scorcher
  22. Under John Fox, this team would have would have curled up and died when they went down by 10. For them to come back, with a backup QB, on the road, is freaking incredible
  23. What was the SEC signature non cinference win this year? Miami? Georgia Tech? What was Clemson’s? Texas A&M?
  24. CRISIS AVERTED. THEY DID THE OBVIOUS NON-CONTROVERSIAL THING
  25. If the NCAA had any actual authority (or balls) they would cut that horsefeathers out immediately. At the very least, tell schools that any victories over FCS schools will not count towards bowl eligibility. If an SEC school goes 6-6 with victories over The Citadel and Yale, have fun sitting at home
