Mike Montgomery sucks and we were always right to hate him (outside of one evening in late 2016)

2-2 count on Rizzo. He tried checking his swing, but clearly broke the plane. In doing so, he got hit in the arm with the pitch. The home plate umpire deferred to the third base ump on the check swing call, who said "no swing". Vargas lost his mind, the umps conferred, then decided Rizzo was out

Better than every other month like last year. I think if Darvish stays healthy and pitches consistently he will end up being good as a Cub. The more he pitches the more in tune his mechanics and control will get, paired with his wicked stuff. Still has a home run problem
