  1. Holy horsefeathers, how did I not know that Rick Pitino is coaching in the EuroLeague? http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/25634454/rick-pitino-reminded-kentucky-winning-debut-euroleague
  2. Sinclair had a pretty bad year https://www.mediamatters.org/blog/2018/12/27/sinclair-had-terrible-horrible-no-good-very-bad-year-and-it-has-only-itself-blame/222339
  3. You’re invoking the biggest idiot of them all?
  4. Browns will be 7-7-1 after today. That’s an astounding one-year turn around
  5. I’m sure he’s willing to give up all that Big Ten tv money then, right? All those millions are really distracting the research scientists
  6. http://extremeicesurvey.org/
  7. That’s fair.
  8. Brewers traded Domingo Santana to Seattle for some reason
  9. Dodgers already cut Bailey, so this trade is getting weirder and weirder
  10. Enough to trade for Kluber or try to sign Kuechel? This *costs* Cincy quite a bit of money for 2019. How long is Kemp’s deal?
  11. Enough to trade for Kluber or try to sign Kuechel?
  12. The good news is that the outfielders have very few opportunities since the walls are like 250 feet from home plate
  13. Theo is a genius. He tricked the Dodgers into taking stupid Harper. Now the Cubs can swoop in and land LeMehieu and Pollock and win 120 games
  14. Guessing it's Puig to the Reds, giving the Dodgers money for Harper. SIGH. Puig, Kemp and Alex Wood
  15. Does RFA really work out for players in other pro leagues. Arbitration is actually kind of nice in some ways, the problem is its so long and drug out after like a decade of control. RFA seemed to have worked out for Zach Lavine and Kyle Fuller just to name two recent local examples. RFA is basically just arbitration by a different means, where the market sets the price instead of an arbitrator. As you say, the bigger problem is that it doesn't happen until entering the player's fourth year of service time, which in many cases might not be until almost a decade after they sign their original deal. Well you would have to say that players hit RFA 3 years after being promoted. Six years of cost controlled team control is way too much
  16. So you don't think one of the most succesfful college coaches in history can teach a class about leadership? Biased much? you don't think michael jordan isn't a great basketball coach? Idiot. That's a terrible analogy
  17. He's probably about as qualified. So you don't think one of the most succesfful college coaches in history can teach a class about leadership? Biased much?
  18. This isn't news. It was pretty clear that he was staying at the school in some capacity after retiring.
  19. Josh Gordon suspended indefinitely for violating the terms of his conditional reinstatement
  20. Just kill arbitration and add restricted free agency
  21. I've seen it too, and I can't get myself to read through any of the Addison apologist/men's rights activist [expletive] all over the horsefeathering place. Hell, I'm someone who used to regularly watch Fox News, and even occasionally stomach visits to dark places on the web such as The Daily Stormer, simply to educate myself more about how the full spectrum of morons to monsters view the world and craft their arguments. I can't get myself to have exchanges with the garbage people anymore. Yeah, that stuff is no good for you. I feel like I can get a decent idea of how horrible people can by just living life. No need to seek it out. Hell, a co-worker's husband decided the Christmas party was a great place to decry homosexuality. I barely got out of there without the Mrs taking a swing at him. I was kinda proud of her, but still. It's really not good for the soul, but I can't help it. Then I read horsefeathers like this: and wonder why I'm such a glutton for it.
  22. Ugh, so many apologists framing this entire situation as "hasn't HE been through enough??" ARE YOU horsefeathering KIDDING ME?
  23. where Facebook, Twitter, other baseball sites
  24. The number of Russell apologists out today is sickening
