  1. For some reason my mind had completely blanked on Jordan coming back mid-season. My brain had decided that he was out for 2 full years and came back at the start of 95-96 BTW, the 72-10 season was my senior year at DePaul, and despite my roommate and I being buried in work trying to graduate, we watched every single game that season
  2. Weird schedule quirk: Jets and Dolphins play each other, then both have a bye week, and then play each other again
  3. I can see that, its like the gathering of the juggalos but with less mental capacity You realize that IMB used to only converse with me with the same "totally normal behavior" stuff as recently as this winter, right? If we are agreeing on something, it just means we are right. The Jets are boring AF and so is Tom. I have no idea why you are going after me now, and I really don't think you ought to be wading into the realm of evaluating others' mental capacities. IMB has broken minnesota's brain
  4. Surely Mike McCarthy will put all the pieces together
  5. The good news is that ESPN has both the Bears and the Jets at 7-9 next year

  7. I wondered if this is part of the strategy at RB, not that I really want it to be. Here's a question: Having declined the 5th year option for Mitch, if he signs a backup QB contract somewhere next year does he bring back a compensatory pick? Floyd didn't but that is because the Bears cut him after previously picking up the option year. I'm just not sure if declining the option eliminates the comp pick. I wouldn't think it does but the rules are not always intuitive If you believe my Madden franchise, Trubisky will sign a 5-year, $78 million deal with the Chargers this off season
  8. My guess is they'll mention it, talk about how it affected Jordan, but not go into much detail (which would sidetrack the documentary anyways). How it affected the team is the most appropriate angle on that story
  9. They’ve gone into each of the championship runs, so we still have 95-96 and 96-97 to see. The two major non-basketball subjects are Jordan playing baseball (and his return) and Jordan’s dad being murdered. There’s a lot to get through in four episodes.
  10. Dalton to Cowboys in one-year deal
  11. NHL looking to start up again at end of May
  12. Definitely seems to be a lot of revisionist history going on in this doc
  13. The behind-the-scenes stories about Rodman's interview is wild. He showed up hours late (shocking), demanded a Subway tuna sandwich and a specific type of tea before he would answer questions, and he only promised one hour of his time. He ended up giving ~3 hours of interviews, but the documentarian had 10+ hours worth of questions to ask (and the hours he did get was like trying to keep an ADHD five year old focused in a room full of flashing lights and candy)
  14. Is his dad Kyle?
  15. Miami taking Wade was the biggest kick in the nuts. All news stories pre-draft had the Bulls taking him.
  16. So basically the Spurs when Robinson got hurt, they got the top pick, nabbed Duncan, and went on to dominate for another decade?
  17. [tweet] [/tweet]
  18. I've only watched ep 1, which could (should) have been titled "Jerry Krause sucks and we were always right to hate him"
  19. Pace gotta Pace Next pick, a tweener LB/DB from a D3 school
  20. Mike McCarthy is a human thumb
  21. There was literally a trade in the last 3-5 minutes a team moved one spot. *wanking motion*
  22. No trades, no drama......boring
  23. 1. Former OSU 2. OSU 3. OSU
  24. The first time in 30 years that the commissioner didn't get booed at the start of the draft
