  1. New ownership is needed. Virginia and the rest of the McCaskeys are utter failures too. Honest question, how does a relatively hands off ownership affect a team being futile for most of the last 25 years? The Bears don’t have a good QB, they don’t have the coaching staff that could develop a good QB, they don’t have a FO that can hire the guys that could develop and coach a good QB, they don’t have executives that can hire the right FO that can hire a coaching staff that develops a good QB. But where does ownership fit in? Should they be more like Jerry Jones and be more involved, maybe clean house more frequently (like Ted Phillips) when it’s clear the team doesn’t have the right pieces? Maybe they should be building connections within the game and improving the image of the team? Maybe make changes like artificial turf at Solider Field so it’s not knows at the stadium where speed goes to die? These sound like I’m challenging your viewpoint and I’m not. I just always hear how the Bears need new ownership and I have a hard time figuring out why that would make the difference. I’m sure there are several reasons that I’m just not thinking of. I have no idea how involved they are on a day to day basis, but they do have a history of making personal relationships with coaches or front office people that probably buys those people extra time when they should be let go
  2. What game are you watching? At the time of that post, Mitch had dumped to the right flat 3 or 4 plays in a row
  3. Mitch starting, so it’s nothing but instant check downs to the flat. He doesn’t even look downfield
  4. Bears are losing by at least three touchdowns
  5. That was all in the first quarter. Plus he backflipped into the end zone on one of his TDs
  6. The KC offense is kinda good
  7. MFer Windermere
  8. See what happens when I switch allegiances?
  9. Wildcat formation every play.
  10. Good news...
  11. S-s-s-simulpost
  12. I’m especially enjoying this because a) Ohio State has been floating about how well they’ve done with COVID compared to “lesser” B1G schools and b) they are a cancellation away from being ineligible for the B1G championship
  13. Grey iron on letters on a plain blue shirt? Amazing? Lol Yes. Nope. They look like the cheap Chinese knockoff jersey your aunt gets you for Christmas because no one is dropping $150 on the real one
  14. Grey iron on letters on a plain blue shirt? Amazing? Lol
  15. You really like these bargain rack Lions jerseys?
  16. The NBA has become the Godless Chucking league that Sulley warned us about
  17. This is happening in every sport, but it’s definitely exaggerated in basketball. In football, a 50 yard field goal used to be a risky attempt, but now every back up kicker in the league can nail 55 yarders and give a 60 yarder a good try. Baseball has unlocked the math of launch angles (and defensive shifts) which have changed the game. But in the NBA, there isn’t much to do outside of fundamentally changing the game by altering the dimensions of the playing area.
  18. Are they really daggers when there are like 40 of them per game?
  19. So nothing but dunks and 3's? Sounds boring Well they're not dunking it from just shy of the FT line. LeBron does, but I see your point. Either way, it looks like a game of "The Floor is Lava" where the safe zones are outside the circle and inside the key
  20. So nothing but dunks and 3's? Sounds boring
  21. Pat Mahomes is the destroyer of dreams
  22. Almost. The Eagles have a slight edge by tying *checks notes* the Bengals
  23. They deserved to lose but somehow won
