    Pudge is already playing for Puerto Rico. How about Luis Gonzalez and other hispanics who are listed as Americans? I think they should look at your citizenship card and play you accordingly. ps I think A-Rod just wants to be on a winning team for once.

    Hey, I love my Honda! He can't help it Derwood, he likes having to buy a new car every 80,000 miles :lol: I bought my first Honda with 83,000 miles on it and sold it, still in good shape, with 119,000. My current Honda (a CRV) I bought with 6 miles on it and it now has 34,560 and runs like it's brand new.

    I agree, one game determining home field advantage in the WS is ridiculous. Selig needs to go! Right, this isn't brain surgery. Every other sport (except the NFL and it's [expletive] neutral site BS) does "best record has homefield."

    Dominican Republic and Venezuela are going to OWN this tourney. I did a little research into the best Dominican players.     This happens to me too. If, from the main BB page, I select "View Your Post", then click one of those threads, it often creates an error.

But seriously, those dugouts better be big enough for the players AND their agents, as no one is going to let these guys kill themselves preseason. Also, how does this affect the actual spring training camps when the superstars are away playing a tournament? Doesn't this hurt on and off-the-field chemistry?

    I must say that that was the most boring piece of television I've seen in a long time. Why do I get excited for this contest every year? And as if Berman isn't enough to make you cry every year, they stick Joe Morgan with him. Christ on a crutch that was painful!

    It's an All Star Team. SOMEONE has to bat 9th. Plus with the DH, it's just a hit parade all day anyways.

    I'm late to this discussion.... Without reading every page of posts, I'll simply say that the guy certainly isn't what he was in the 90's, but he does lead the team in wins right now. I think his off day experiences with the young pitchers are invaluable.

    I have NEVER heard that it's uncool to bring a glove. I bring my glove if I'm somewhere I could catch a ball. What's less cool, catching a ball with a glove, or getting your ball when some other idiot WITHOUT a glove takes it off the chest and then you pick it up when it rolls under your chair? No one ever catches balls barehanded on the fly!
