  1. yeah, but you shouldn't have picked Southern over Duke
  2. Pretty impressive that a Big East team got to the ACC title game... um, he he, yeah in other news, i'm 2-1 (stoopid Pirates) good start to the tourney.
  3. Games like this one make me say "screw my brackets"! I just like seeing close games and I love seeing the underdogs win. Take that Big East!
  4. so did the dogs find a bomb in the cart or were they just hungry? 2 hour delays at that site...
  5. what exactly is a "suspicious package"? I'd like to know so I can be on the look out next ball game I attend.
  6. CBS can't decide what game to show me. I've seen all three for equal time now.
  7. Hasn't the FBI/CIA been investigating possible problems at these sites for the past few weeks already?
  8. why oh why did i pick Seton Hall to win it all? /just kidding //can you imagine?
  9. local TV has abandoned the SH/WS massacre and have switched to BC-Pacific
  10. I woke up today psyched to watch a full day of basketball, but I have to tell you, most of the games shown locally today SUCK! How about Seton Hall vs Wichita St. to get things rolling? That's followed by Alabama vs Marquette. I honestly could not care less about either game. No Illini either. We have Gonzaga-Xavier and Syracuse-Texas A&M tonight :x
  11. It was an osprey. They weren't endangered at the time (not sure about now), but they were recognized by Florida as a bird of special concern. The one he killed officially made them endangered
  12. this thread title made my grammar teacher cry
  13. which one is Kevin?
  14. Step 1: Change name from Ball State to something respectable-like. Like Slippery Rock or Bowling Green
  15. i'm not knocking him. He figured out how not to have contact lens problems. It's a shame that more major leaguers did not follow the lead of this brave pioneer
  16. Not yet IMO. To be elite you have to deliver 18+ wins on a consistent basis and Z's best to date is 16. He can't blow easy Ws like in last season's opener. so by that criteria, Maddux is the only one close to being elite on our roster
  17. There has been an injury thread all spring, but management has denied its existence.
  18. That's correct. Well, actually he asked me on the way. Not when we were there. Did he tell you about how he was going to get rich off his new "6 Second Abs" idea?
  19. There was a blurb in one of the Cubs.com articles that Sing was having problems with allergies / his contact lenses getting too dry and was having to switch to glasses, which made him uncomfortable hitting. That was given as a reason he hadn't been playing at all lately. I've lived that Hell before and didn't have to hit 95 MPH fastballs too! I've always wondered how contacts going crazy would effect a MLB type player. Gimme a couple years and I'll suggest remedies for you. Or, more likely, I'll tell you to see your optometrist. Just ask this guy: http://www.grandstandsports.com/images/1612.jpg He has all the answers
  20. Wow, if starting an injury thread causes injuries, I suggest two new sticky threads: - The Cardinals Injury Thread and - The Derwood wins Powerball Thread
  21. wait... what's that I hear? Look! To the East! It's, it's... MODZILLA!!!!
  22. Don't brackets have to be in before the play-in game (that started 20 minutes ago)?
  23. Glad to see that the PSU/Rutgers game has no local TV coverage tonight (stupid ESPNU) :x
  24. Lee not playing was not why the US lost
  25. nope because if they did they wouldnt have been in the atlanta region because of not being able to play two days in a row. Illinois didn't play the play in game winner last year either. huh? The play-in is Tuesday. Where would back to back games happen? It might not be the case, but precedence was set last year, we were the number one seed last year but UNC got the play in game. just another thing they do that makes no sense to me EDIT: i quickly perused these guidelines and saw no precedent for te play-in game
