  1. The Bet365 commercial on mlb.tv makes me want to kick puppies
  2. Peredes is in the starting lineup, so much not be that injured
  3. Bagent seems like one of the few competent backup QB's in the league (a fact that continues to blow my mind every season)
  4. His control is pretty pretty pretty bad tonight
  5. Our long national nightmare is finally over.
  6. "Caleb wouldn't answer any of the questions I had prepared, so this article is me pivoting in real time"
  7. Drop Riley Add Jose Ramirez
  8. The players know the zone better than the umps. They shouldn’t have to expand their zone (which almost always ends up a weak grounder or a pop up) to adjust to a bad or inconsistent zone.
  9. Neris also sucks in non-save situations. Maybe don't have him on the team next year
  10. 30 pitch 1st inning is less than ideal with a thin bullpen
  11. That throw is almost as bad as the vertically filmed recording of a TV set
  12. The Cubs, somehow in 2nd place in the NL Central EDIT: 3rd place (Cards won tonight)
  13. I'm sure it's happened at some point, but it feels like the Cubs haven't had a clean 7/8/9 innings with a lead in like 3 years
  14. I would be good with Hoyer signing a dozen relievers next year
  15. On the one hand, Penn State can't have another "beats everyone but OSU and Michigan" season (because they aren't playing Michigan). On the other, they'll probably have a "beats everyone but OSU, Oregon and USC" season instead
  16. You're creating a situation where the manager and trainers have to make a real-time decision about sending a guy to the IL in the middle of a game. How is that a good thing?
  17. That seems like a dumb rule considering that you aren't running an MRI or X-Ray on the guy on the mound mid-game. Pitchers leave games all the time for shoulder tightness or a blister or whatever without having to go on the IL
  18. This is Craig "The Bullpen Whisperer" Counsell's work
