    How are we being elitist? They're tarnishing of the best ballparks in the nation, and the one which we love. How about spending money wisely? Are the Twins and A's high bankroll ball clubs? How about the Braves? The solution isn't just to "throw in good money after the bad". you mean the Twins, A's and Braves that have stadiums full of ads?

    Who's trading bedard straight up for Z? EDIT. Who HAS us trading bedard straight up for Z? no one, but even if you're getting two for one, bedard is the player proposed to be replacing Z in the lineup.

    I still don't know why some of you get your panties in a bunch over announcers who "hate" the Bears, Cubs, etc. So what? Does it really change your opinion of the team or the game?

    bedard has a career ERA+ of 110, Z's is 133 bedard is almost 28, Z is 25 bedard's career WHIP is 1.44, Z's is 1.28 so beside bedard being 80 lbs. lighter, why do I want him over Z again?

    Dude is set for a breakdown in the next couple of years thanks to Dusty. greg maddux pitched under dusty too. How often was he on the DL? I'm not saying Dusty didn't abuse pitchers, but to trade arguably your team MVP based on a maybe seems like a terrible, terrible idea On a "maybe"? You mean a "maybe" like Tejada and someone lide Beddard? no, I meant on a "maybe he'll get hurt in 2 or 3 years"

    No, he also hates the Bears. :D I seriously, seriously don't care if the announcer hates my team. Seriously, what does it matter? Half of it is just thin skinned fans taking any criticism as "Oh NOES!!! He hates my team!!111!" He goes out of his way. Don't tell me you have no idea what I'm talking about. I don't mute national telecasts because the radio doesn't match up and I want the guys to at least attempt to give me some objective analysis, or at least as close as they can get. I don't think Buck does that or is capable of that. clearly it hasn't been so egregious that I've noticed it. I'm sure if you're going into the broadcast thinking "this guy hates my team, just wait till he says something!" then yeah, you'll hear all sorts of stuff.

    I don't really care that Nash was on the bench. If you're a good team, then you beat a team whose star player is hurt. Might the Suns have won had Nash been on the floor? Sure. But he wasn't, and we won, so that's that. When's the trade deadline?
