    DePaul has not made a crisp cut, curl or pass all game. It's like five drunk guys sorta stumbling around out there. "okay guys, here's the play. you pass to me, i'll try to drive, run into a wall, pass to you, then you try. with five seconds left, someone throw up a prayer"

    They're not a lock, but they're definitely in good shape going in. The only thing that would really hurt them if they lost tonight is how they'd matchup against a team like DePaul's resume. If they won tonight, DePaul would have swept ND on the season, and improved their conference record. They have cupcakes left on their schedule after ND, and could very well finish 10-6 in conference. So DePaul would have a better conference record, would have completed a season sweep, and have major wins over Kansas, Marquette, and ND twice. All that hinges on them winning out though. latest bracketology has 7 (I think) Big East teams getting in, with 8th ranked Villanova getting in over 7th ranked DePaul. There is work to be done. Hopefully the conflict between the 2nd half and American Idol won't be a moot point....

    Hopefully you're right. I'll be busting out my Leprechaun Legion T-shirt (that's the clever name for ND's student section) and backwards ND green hat, as I do for all ND national telecasts. oh, you're one of THOSE guys You bet I am. I'd forgotten which poster on here had an issue with backwards hats, actually. :D backwards is better than sideways or slightly askew (sabathia style) but still silly looking

    nothing (barring injury) will keep Marquis and Lilly out of the rotation. And yes, there is plenty of precedent with the organization benching/demoting a promising youngster for a useless veteran (Choi/McGriff ring any bells?)

    Assuming everyone is healthy? Z, Prior, Hill, Lilly, Gooz I like. They aren't going to pay Marquis $7million to not be in the rotation. Like it or not, it's just reality

    Amen. Cowherd is the WORST in radio. He makes Rome tolerable. woah, woah, woah. Let's not go overboard here buddy. cowherd at least makes observations about sports, and although completely wrong 95% of the time--it still qualifies him as being better than rome, who rarely makes comments about anything on-field, only philosophical issues. *dead air* *dead air* "Wicked" *dead air* *dead air*
