Which leads to the age-old question: Why aren't PB and WP errors? ( I know the balls aren't in play, but still) no, the real question is "why have unearned runs at all?" The only point is to help individual players' ERA's. It's not like the runs don't count. For example, one of the first games this spring had the Cubs giving up like 9 runs, only 2 or 3 of which were earned. So what? The Cubs gave up 9 runs. Don't pretty up the stats and tell a false story here. If you come in and give up 6 runs, you gave up 6 runs.

HD = da bomb diggity No doubt and I currently have it with Time Warner. The frustrating thing about HD right now in regards to the EI package is that no games are offered in HD. The more HD I can watch...the happier I am, especially if it is the Cubbies! huh? I thought EI was promising at least 2 games per week per team in HD this year? -
i'll be happy to see Duke lose in the first round. what a truly unremarkable team. I have no specific hatred towards them like many do, but they were certainly overrated by pollsters this year. Staying #21 in the country with their record and last 10 games was beyond a joke

And why'd he get into early foul trouble? A few questionable calls by the refs. I am a Tar Heel fan so I understand what you are saying and May did have a huge game, but part of that is because Augustine was out alot of the first half due to a few weak touch fouls. Augustine was on the bench with 2 fouls five minutes into just about every game they played

agreed. During the DePaul / Nova game, a Nova guy took 2 steps, then did a hop step, then jumped off of one foot for the layup.

i agree. Smith isn't built like a prototypical NFL QB, whereas Russell is a man-beast back there. NFL Network broke down some Russell tape the other night and I was pretty impressed. He can throw 35 yard passes on a frozen rope and can drop passes into double teams at times. Of course they were showing highlights so it wasn't necessarily the fairest picture of him, but I think he will be around in the NFL way longer than Troy
