    Everybody is a guest on everybody's record now. It's like those bloated 1970's disaster and car-chase movies with the huge "all-star" cast. The idea was to cram as many familiar names into the credits as possible to prolong the life of a played-out formula. there are like 2 songs on "Late Registration" that don't have guest rappers: Adam Levine Lupe Fiasco Jamie Foxx Paul Wall & GLC Common Game Brandy Jay-Z Nas Really Doe Consequence Cam'ron

    Bob, your avatar paired with this picture is... appropriate. David Aardsma can count this as the first time in his life that I have ever been measurably jealous of him. I'd prefer to see her in the Cubs version of that outfit, however. so THAT'S why he made that face in his photo.

    I had them finishing 2nd with a possible WC berth. Their pitching is too strong for them to be in 4th this year. Buehrle seems to have arisen again and the rest of their rotation looks real solid. Danks has had two real solid starts, even though he lost both games. If their offense can get on track, they are going to be a real good team. if they make the playoffs with Erstad and Podsednik in the OF, I will cry

    With a 9th inning bases loaded nobody out threat, only to hit into a triple play. The triple play shall unfold thusly: Matt Murton is on 3rd base, Derrek Lee on 2nd, and A-Ram on 1st. Jacque Jones at bat. Closer Bob Wickman uncorks a wild pitch to the back stop. Murton panics or a second before stumbling towards home, where he is tagged out by 10 feet. In the mean time, Lee attempts to take third and Ramirez second, but Lee gets caught in a run down, and both Derrek and Aramis end up standing on second, where Lee is tagged out. Thinking the ballgame is over, Ramirez starts trotting back to the dugout where he is tagged for the third out. After this play, NSBB posters will blame Jacque for the loss
