  1. i have to say, i am somewhat satisfied with the one run. it shows the cubs aren't giving up in the first inning already. plus maddux is good for maybe 85 pitches these days and they made him work
  2. i have it at 2.223423 :-k I love lamp. what, Theriot isn't getting 2.2 hits per at-bat?
  3. steal of 2nd. Maddux still can't hold guys on
  4. first major league at bat is against Maddux. Fun
  5. way to not put any pressure on Pie to get a hit, jackhole
  6. i can't imagine patience with miller at this point. These aren't just "not great" outings. This is getting tagged
  7. As Mark Grace swears at the TV GRACE, HILL, MABRY....
  8. If that's the plan, fine by me. I won't hold my breathe. it's the only thing that makes sense
  9. must be nice to have a league where the in-game officials are held accountable for their actions
  10. Totally agree. NIW EW ,WTB that is getting DLO OS
  11. i think its a matter of - find the best spot for a rookie callup to perform vs - disrupting the every day lineup in other words, Pie is here for a few days to fill in for Soriano, who led off. his physical skills aren't terrible for a few days at the #1 spot, especially if it lets the rest of the order bat where they are accustomed to bat. I don't know if I like the idea of resetting the order to accommodate a rookie
  12. the ideal situation would be for him to hit in the same place in the order as he was in Iowa, but I don't think bumping Lee from the #3 spot is gonna happen
