    My only game in the bleachers was a 2004 game against the Marlins. During batting practice, Brad Penny was in the OF shagging fly balls or jogging or whatever and some fans were giving it to him good. He turned around and gave it right back. It was awesome. In general, heckling is annoying though. In that game, Juan Encarnacion was the Marlins RF and this fan about 10 people to my left was yelling at him all the time. His jokes were funny in the 1st inning. They were redundant in the 3rd. By the 5th, everyone wanted to punch him in the face.

    It probably means that Mike is making another return They can use Collins until Rose is just about ready to take the team to the next level, then bring in Phil Jackson for 6 championships in 8 years. Rose better not be thinking minor league baseball. as long as he doesn't develop a gambling problem there won't be a reason for a sham retirement/minor league stint

    I loved how Sutcliffe and Berman just praised and praised Pierre for holding the record for most AB's in a season (699). I'll have to live with WGN looking like crap over ESPNHD if those two assclowns are calling the game again

    while 7IP/1ER is great, it's not a good forecast of future starts. He was pitching with the help of gail-force winds blowing in, and he was facing the Dodgers' AA team. That said, your job is to dominate in those situations and he did. He should do well against the injured Rockies as well.

    at least Edmonds isn't hitting 1st or 2nd in the order like Pierre/Perez/Macias/Patterson were.
