I really wish the Big Ten had a title game this year. That would help PSU a lot. As it stands now, it's Rose Bowl all the way without some combo of Florida losing to FSU (then beating Bama) and Mizzou winning the Big XII championship game

if you recruit a really fast QB, switch to the Florida playbook. There are about 12 shotgun formations and 80% of the playbook are option and/or PA plays. it's great fun.

Penn State is 3-0, which, while no indicator of how good they are, is significant because they tend to a) have a terrible OOC schedule yet b) lose 1/2 of said OOC games

Exactly. I don't really understand what some of you are expecting. some of us expected that a playoff core plus two or 3 years of high draft picks wouldn't equal regression They were 33-49 last year. I think they'll be better than that this year. That does not equal regression. Like UMFan said, the East has gotten significantly better over the last two years compared to the Bulls 49 win season in 06-07. All of his points he made were valid ones. Just wait until 2010 happens and go from there. I still think this team can contend for a 7th or 8th spot in the East, which would be more than fine with me. I'd rather miss the playoffs and roll the dice in lottery. why get locked out of the lottery with a first round route at the hands of Boston or Cleveland?
