I don't think he's a second fiddle, I just think he's too quiet a guy to be "the man" on a team. He's not Jordan/James/Bryant/Wade/whoever in terms of personality

I'm somehow still not entirely sold on Rose. He's a great player, especially for his age, but I don't think he has the personality to be the leader of a championship team. We'll see if that's something that he can develop, or if he'll need a complimentary player who brings that quality.

it's going to be so interesting to see how USC's fans react to Kiffin. They've had 9 years of Pete Carroll and his Bill & Ted, hang loose attitude, and now they're going to have to deal with a controversy magnet who seems proficient at pissing people off

Thats awesome. Why would any real coach take that job until they know what's going to happen to USC? not to mention that Del Rio would get a $15 million buy out if Jacksonville fires him, but gets a $0 buy out if he resigns to go to USC

There's a reason there is no NCAA Championship in football..... That crystal football says otherwise. Incorrect. Alabama won the BCS National Championship. The NCAA has nothing to do with the "championship" process is college football. The BCS (and the entire bowl system) operates outside of the NCAA, thus there has not been an actual NCAA football championship in a long time (if ever)
