    Of course, I knew the Fontenot/Z thing, I was being sarcastic about that. But I didn't know the Cubs sprayed champagne on fans, actually. There were young children in the crowd during the Sox celebration. [-X Although I remember in 07, there was a kid in the locker room during the celebration, and someone (forgot who) dumped a bottle of champagne on him. :)

    WTF? Some of the Sox players are spraying champagne on the fans, and Danks was getting a piggyback ride from another player. Only the White Sox. :lol:

    No. Anyways, I don't really read Doyel much except maybe a couple times before, and his articles are always the same. He always aims to anger one particular fanbase, and this time it's the Astros. I agree with the main point (stop complaining, Houston players), but does he seriously think Astros players will actually read this article? Of course not, he just felt like picking a fight with Astros fans. You know, I just think that this guy, Gregg Doyel, is an okay guy in real life, but on the internet, CBS hired him as a persona, to write articles simply to piss off fans. Nobody can be this much of a jerk, right? Now, I do agree that the 'Stros players cannot blame this for their season slipping away.

    I LOL'd. Same. :lol: I think the main reason, however, is because MLB wants to mix up the matchups, as it would get pretty bland to see Yankees/Red Sox almost every year.

    So? I have a lot of friends who are Sox fans. I enjoy seeing my friends suffer. Eh, I agree with Chucky. I don't dislike the Sox, not only because some of my friends and family are Sox fans, but also because I could never actively hate on a Chicago team. Probably the reason I'm not as big of a White Sox hater is because I haven't lived in Chicago for most of my life, so I've never developed the hatred. Although I can see how some of you Chicagoans don't like the Sox one bit; I've developed the same feelings for the Carolina Panthers, living in NC.

    I can't seem to post on the Backup NSBB, is it just me? Yesterday, during the crash after the Bears game, I went on, but when I try to post, I got this: Is anybody else having this problem? Just wondering, because come playoff time, the boards may very likely be crashed if a whole lot of new members come on.
