  1. that includes you CRAP EVERYONE THATS NOT ME omc hurt his arm jerking off, the end his lack of details are suspicious There really isn't anything to say. Sometimes limbs collide when you are messing about. Crap, she gave you a Canadian dialect with that blow. must've been some blow Now there are drugs involved?? With the details he's given so far, everything can be involved.
  2. Again, after OMC's story. A good last thought, except for maybe OMC. I don't think he wants to recall his story.
  3. No kidding....me and my Darren Daulton knees. Now I got a brokeass arm. Definitely wasn't worth it. full story now Let's just say that I was wounded in action. That's what happens when you mess with big girls. Big girls need love too. Yeah, but is it worth a broken arm? No. Jessica Alba wouldn't be worth this pain. Hydrocodine does nothing. I'm pretty sure I'd go through anything for a night with Jessica Alba. this Maybe it's not the broken arm that hurts, but the thing that happened before. We need details immediately.
  4. No kidding....me and my Darren Daulton knees. Now I got a brokeass arm. Definitely wasn't worth it. full story now Let's just say that I was wounded in action. That's what happens when you mess with big girls. Big girls need love too. They just have to pay for it. Did you take the money and try to run? That's never a good idea.
  5. That's why I was asking. I think my arm might be broken, but I'm obviously able to type, so I didn't know if you could type with a broken arm. What did you do to it? Someone knee'd my lower arm very hard. You might want to see a doctor about that  Seriously
  6. They played a couple games in Japan, remember?
  7. That was an awful end to the 1/2 inning, but it's not over. Sonnanstine usally blows up near the end of his outings, allowing most of his runs in innings 4-6. He got in a jam here, I think he can come back out (92 pitches) and get in trouble again.
  8. Sonnanstine is like Gallagher, as in he usually has a bad inning every start. Let's hope he has a couple more innings like this.
  9. I don't have the exact stats, but it's clear that he hasn't been as good since that game against LA (not SD). I don't know if it's because he faced a tougher lineup, or because of all those pitches. His game log http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/gamelog?playerId=4499 He has had 1 out of 4 quality starts (6 IP, 3 ER) since then, and this start is included (a non-QS) Before, he had 9 of 11 QS.
  10. Holy crap, I just went down to eat dinner after the top of the 3rd with the score 2-1, and I just looked on Gameday to see what happened. Is Lieber still warming up (assuming he was during the previous inning)?
  11. Yes .. I believe the Yankees did it for some odd reason. I think Jeter was the DH and he later went to play the field, and the pitcher had an AB. EDIT: n/m, I guess the pitcher never did get an AB: http://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/BOS/BOS200608210.shtml From Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Designated_hitter#The_rule_in_practice There are some more instances of the pitcher hitting, but this is just one example from this year.
  12. HAHA I just found out the Cubs scored another run in the 9th by watching SportsCenter highlights. GameDay either messed up, or I see 1s in place of 2s, because after the run scoring wild pitch, I still saw the score as 3-1. Good thing no one called me out for posting Yeah, assuming Kosuke scored on the single, Micah could've scored on a sac fly from 1st. D'oh!
  13. Why are we DHing our worst hitter? We wouldn't DH Fontenot, but whoever we put wouldn't be nearly as good as Ortiz anyway. Edmonds? Johnson? Cedeno? None of those players are nearly as good as Big Papi. So the Cubs would be in a disadvantage if they played the Red Sox, Indians or another team that has a good permanent DH. But another point is that most teams don't have a specific DH. This is from Wikipedia, so take it with a grain of salt, but
  14. that's what I'm wondering . . . actually, we'll probably lose, thank god :) Soto will likely move to Catcher. You can do that, according to the rules.
  15. GAH! A single and a sac fly would've done nicely
  16. So a pitcher can't hit for himself, even if he wanted to in the AL? Guess I never knew that. The official rule is that DH is optional, so the pitcher can hit. But rarely will a manager let them hit, when they could use a DH.
  17. I've been posting for a couple months and reading for a year or so, so I can post a game thread(s). But how do I know when it's my turn to post? Do I get a PM of some sort?
  18. But wha...what about the moment of silence during the top of third?!?!?!? Well there sure will be silence for the last of the day in Doubleday field, seeing as no one's there :P. EDIT: WTF, why is that smilie moving? It looks kinda creepy.
