    ?? If the Brewers win the WC, game 4'll be on at 9:30 central. That's 7:30 pacific.

    Last week, I traded for Thomas Jones, Darren McFadden, and Jake Delhomme. I didn't start D-Mac, and he had a huge game, earning 35 points. So this week, I thought I'd outsmarted the football gods. I decided to start D-Mac. "Ha, I'm so clever", I said to myself, as I hastily benched Ronnie Brown for Darren McFadden. :doh: He had 4 rushing TDs and 1 passing, and could've gotten me 52 points. I had Thomas Jones today, and I thought I could still pull out the win, but the Jets didn't hand off to Jones for all of the 4th quarter, so I ended up losing by 5. My team's 0-3, and I could've been 2-1 if I had made the right moves. If you haven't noticed by this post, I'm not too good at fantasy football. ;)

    It's gotta be Soto for most people, but personally, I love Woody. He's been around for so long that I just kind of see him as the face of the Cubs.

    Yeah but they have that word filter that will block a lot of the words I am thinking :-). Holy [expletive] [expletive], I didn't know we had an automatic word filter until now. I thought people were just saying "Howry" and "soapdropping" as minced oaths, and were typing it in themselves.

    http://i37.tinypic.com/efhp9x.gif It doesn't matter what the Cubs do anymore standings-wise, as HFA is all wrapped up, so it'd be interesting to follow some of the other games around the league. Obviously the Brewers game (along with ours) will have a big impact on the NL wild card race. Another huge game is the White Sox at Twins. The ChiSox are 2.5 games up in the AL Central, and this is the start of a 3 game series.

    Couldn't get it to work earlier. It would get about 80 percent loaded and then just sit there. I've had to work off Sportsline tonight. Yeah... that's what it's doing for me. Is there another one out there better than ESPN ?? I don't think so. MLB GameDay and ESPN Gamecast are the two best in my opinion, but I've used Foxsports.com, and it's not too bad. GameDay is working for me, and I'm using it on Firefox. Maybe your browser is the problem?

    I wasn't really able to follow the Blackhawks much living in North Carolina with Dollar Bill's policies about TV/radio, and the fact that they haven't been much good recently, so no nationally televised games. But with the recent upgrades into the 21st century (WGN will have games, even though it's local WGN, and WGNradio.com streams games), it looks like fans across the country will at least somewhat be able to follow the Hawks. I don't know as much about hockey or the NHL as football,basketball, or baseball, but I do know some about the Blackhawks, and this year is very promising, to say the least. Can't really say much else since I'm not too hockey-smart, other than go Blackhawks!

    I agree, except for the bolded part that I changed. I think the Phils will beat the Dodgers.

    One side kept it off the field (i.e. coaches, not players), the other chose to target the opposing SP. I think that's weak. Or smart. Or both. It's a smart move to try and mess with a pitcher, but it's weak to complain about a freaking tattoo. It's a good move if I was a Marlins fan, but it seems really annoying and petty to me since I'm not.
