  1. I'm surprised these guys haven't gotten fired yet with how much they rip into Reds players (mainly Dunn). I'm all for announcers pointing out player's mistakes and weaknesses, but when player's parents won't watch because you're calling the game maybe you've gone too far.
  2. Brian Sabean's Dream Team C - Jason Kendall 1B - Rich Aurilia 2B - Jose Lopez 3B - Jose Bautista SS - Omar Visquel LF - Dave Roberts CF - Mark Kotsay RF - Brian Giles P - Livan Hernandez P - Brett Tomko I was considering a Giants player for almost every position on offense.
  3. Nice fielding Fielder, though he might have got him anyway.
  4. Just got back from class, glad to see Z looking sharp after the delay.
  5. Decent interview, but like GoCubsGo said it wasn't very in depth. It was basically the short version of the Moneyball section on him.
  6. I really don't want to see UNC get a cupcake Final Four game They only beat Davidson by 4 earlier in the year.
  7. Agreed, especially since the Cubs will likely use Lieber in long relief anyway. Sucks for Marshall though. He proved he could handle starting duties last year, but the Cubs are apparently dead set against having him in the rotation now.
  8. Yeah, this needs to be quoted.
  9. Ball through Agon's legs? Apparently he was watching a different game 6. At least he got 2005 right.
  10. Some ridiculous 3-point shooting in this Wisconsin-Davidson game. I think that's 6 makes in a row for Davidson.
  11. Siena looks like they're going to go wire to wire against Vandy. Nice to see one of my upset picks come through. I need Oregon to start playing better if I'm going to sweep this session though.
  12. OT game #2 in Tampa. I wish Gus had been sent to Tampa, because these announcers are terrible.
  13. These other games are really boring, but UConn is in some trouble here. I'm pulling for the 12-13 matchup.
  14. 2-2 after that Drake (Sweet 16 pick) heartbreaker. No more rooting intrest and my bracket is in trouble, so time to root for mass chaos. And why is Texas-Austin Peay on my TV?
  15. Holy crap this Drake game is awesome!
  16. Finally got a sweep in that last set of games, which is good because I have all of them going deeper. 13-3 on the day, and lost a Sweet 16 team in Temple. I was really pulling for Belmont so I don't have to hear how Iowa State is the last 2 seed to lose to a 15, but it wasn't to be.
  17. Don't look now, but Belmont is in the lead.
  18. And still the UNLV lead grows.
  19. Two of my Sweet 16 teams down 9 at half. Not looking good for my bracket so far.
  20. Not very happy with my bracket this year, but I usually do terrible when I think I did well anyway. Kansas, Louisville, Stanford, and UCLA are my Final Four, with Kansas beating UCLA for the title. As far as major upsets, I have Siena beating Vandy, Davidson and Temple to the Sweet Sixteen, and West Virginia to the Elite Eight.
  21. If you want to get technical, Butler is closer to Tampa and Notre Dame is slightly closer to Denver, but that's a pretty small nitpick. Looks great otherwise.
  22. He already said that wasn't the actual bracket, just the seeding. Conference teams can't play in the second round. I know, I was just trying to point out tweaks that could be made. I know the rule used to be that you couldn't play a conference team until the elite 8, but when the Big East expanded they changed them because they could get 9 teams into the tourney. I though they allowed 2nd round matchups if absolutely necessary, but they're unnecessary anyway, so it doesn't matter.
