    The way the Saltman has been pitching, I'd hardley say we didn't get good players for McLouth. The Bay trade is interesting. Here we are a year removed from the Bay and Nady trades. At the time, the Bay trade was lauded and the Nady trade was panned. Now, Ohlendorf and Karstens are productive major leaguers. Tabata is showing a lot of potential. OTOH, Bryan Morris, who was supposed to be the Jewel in the Bay trade can't stay off the DL. Andy LaRoche hasn't lived up to the hype, nor has Moss. I'll completely admit that I didn't know how the players that you got for McLouth were doing, but I remember being very unimpressed at the time. Hopefully, you keep moving in the right direction. The Pirates are my favorite other NL Central team

    Pittsburgh has gotten some pretty good players today. The McLouth and Bay trades are different stories, though.

    I think Wells will go as long as possible. Hart pitching tomorrow means you have to have someone fresh down there. I say Wells goes 6 or 7 and Atkins finishes it out. There is really no better time to pitch Atkins than in a 9-0 game. Plus, with an off day for the rest of the bullpen today, there should be some fresh arms

    Morgan does have a .311 EqA for the Nationals compared to Dunn's .325 (Morgan's EqA with Pittsburgh was just .262 though)
