  1. Hendry doesn't really overpay in midseason trades. I'm not too worried, my guess is we give them a non-prospect
  2. LOL Kevin Hart just hit two balls hard off of you, Russ Ortiz
  3. What's your definition of awful then if it's not a guy who can't crack a starting rotation? When I'm saying not awful, I'm kind of responding to the thought that the Cubs have to have somebody better than this in the minors. Obviously Hart is not a good MLB starting pitcher. For his role though, Hart is exactly what you expect, maybe even a little bit better. A guy who would be expected to give you a 6 or 7 ERA in that slot would be an awful minor league replacement (and there are several of those around the league). I don't really expect us to have somebody better because he was really our 8th option to start a game. (The original rotation + Wells + Gaudin then Hart). I just never want to have to see Hart pitch again
  4. MILTON!!!!!!! HES MY FAVORITE PLAYER!!! WOOOOO
  5. We are still winning and have a 70% chance of winning the game. I can't get too worked up. JAKE FOX!!!!!!!! AND NOW A BETTER CHANCE
  6. Can Stevens go multiple innings? Hart is probably going to have to get through about 5 no matter what. Whoever said this was going to be a game with a score of about 14-13, kudos to you.
  7. Kevin Hart sucks. Please get healthy Ted
  8. Crowd did make it seem like that was going out for Derrek
  9. You're really complaining about the #9 spot? 7, 8, and 9 spots
  10. Willingham has been absolutely mashing this year with a wOBA of .408 and an EqA of .334.
  11. I do not want to add another OF at all, but if I wanted to pick up a cheap RF from the NL East, it would be Josh Willingham.
  12. According to the rules, a player must be in the Top 20% range of FA (unless that's change) to be award Type A. My guess is Scutaro will be classified as a Type B FA at best. He's likely going to be Type A, pretty easily.
  13. I'd love Hermida if we needed a RF. However, it's just stupid to waste resources on him, now.
  14. I am a huge fan of what Pittsburgh has done this season. The reality is that none of these players were going to help the Pirates when they were finally good again (with the possible exception of McLouth), but they have a very deep OF in the minors. They could be really good in a few years
  15. Channellllllllllllllllll?
