    That's probably because it is I think this year Opening Day rotation is better than last year's Opening Day rotation. Remember, last year the number five was Wade Miller. All we did was replace Miller with Dempster with Hill likely to take a big step forward and Lilly going a little backwards.

    Bruce, what more can you tell us? Is there interest in other players we have not heard mentioned yet? Maybe DaVanon. They like Johnson better. The usual trade suspects are still out there, but as we all know, they're not easily obtainable. Any interest in Lopez, Bruce?

    They were overrated until early February, then they started clicking on all cylinders and played the way they should have been all year. There was a big difference in the quality of Carolina's play to the rest of the ACC for the last month and a half. The first half of the season on the other hand. This is coming from a Duke fan that hates to admit when Carolina is good.

    we could use a versatile lefthanded hitting OF I think Jacque Jones could be a good fit, I think all he needs is a change of scenery

    Does Wisconsin have a perimeter defensive ace or two? Yes indeed, Michael Flowers is one of the best defenders in the nation. He'll still have his hands full with Curry. But I'm more worried about ensuring no one else on their team goes off. I should have known better. It's kind of hard to be one of the best defensive teams in the nation without a defensive ace.

    I'd definitely go Maybin or Fukudome, depending on whether you are going to be competing this year or in a couple years.

    After the load they gave Florida for Biggy/Dontrelle, I seriously doubt they have enought to land Street. And that includes if Porcello was available. Detroit has to lower their sites. Wuertz?
