    Again, Wood can't warm up in 2 minutes. Marmol was warm before Soriano hit the HR. There is no way Wood could have gotten ready. This isn't a video game where you can just insert anyone at anytime.

    I think its just a case of being cautious with him. It was obviouls something was up in his last start. He gave good five innings and left with a 4-run lead.

    Lou can't predict Soriano would hit another HR. marmol was warm to come in with a 2 run lead.

    I'm fine with Rich being taken out. Especially now that the Cubs have extended their lead. Get through this inning and you have many options to finish the game, and moreso if the Cubs can tack on a few more.

    He was already warm before Soriano hit the HR. He shouldn't go more than 1 inning assuming he holds the lead. Its just strange because guys like Eyre and Wood go days at a time without playing, and Marmol seems to go every freaking day. Well, he's their best reliever so your more likely to see him.

    Remember his last start when it was obvious something was bothering his leg. Maybe this has something to do with that and they are just being cautious.

    Soriano is having a Sosa-esque September with the longball.

    The first few singles and the bloop were bad luck. But you can 't allow a pitcher, especially a lefthanded hitter to absolutely lace one down the line. Thats my only gripe with the last inning.

    No fault goes to HIll for the two busted bats and the bloop. But you have to get the pitcher out, especially if he is left-handed.

    The only thing I have on right now is the 2 Big East games on ESPN. I live 20 frickin miles from Champaign. Yep. Pretty sweet that we can't get any Big Ten games right now even though we live in Big Ten country. Thanks Big Ten Network. :evil: Should there be just as much, or more blame on whatever cable company you have?
