Regardless of if Hasselback is hurt or not, if this young team can pull out a win in Seattle that would be a huge confidence boost. If the Packers can't come out on top in the second half, I don't see how they beat the Colts with the banged up secondary.
Between Iowa, Green Bay and the Cubs I have a losing streak dating back to the Cubs meaningless win against the Brewers. The Packers don't seem to want to end that for me. Maybe the Blackhawks will win on Thursday.
Maybe the problem is that people come here to win it for the city. Come here because the Cubs are a good baseball team and it gives you a chance to win a WS. Stop saying that you're coming here to win it for the city, you're putting way to much pressure on yourselves.
I was already thinking, right after the game, what we need to do to improve the team for next year. What is wrong with me, I am pretty sure thie is a form of mental suicide.
What are you protesting? What do you want them to do differently? They had the best team in the NL, they added a nasty ace-quality pitcher at the deadline. They spent a ton of money. Contraction is the only answer. :beg:
I'm holding out hope that fate exists in baseball and that God is really messing with us and we are coming back in the 9th inning to win and will go on from there. It's all I got left here.
