    Looking through the top 25, I don't understand why it exists. Tulsa, Minnesota and North Carolina probably have no business being there.

    Do the Bulls have a shot tonight? It seems like teams with Garnett on them always beat the Bulls. Even when the Wolves were crap w/ Garnett they beat the Bulls when they made the playoffs.

    Didn't know that. Outside of UCLA and Arizona I am not too familiar with Pac-10 basketball. Actually aside from hockey I am not too familiar with college basketball history. Weird considering I like it a lot.

    Obviously in regular season games this is the protocal, but would they have awarded the Phillies the win if they had the lead?

    Yeah, that's how I feel about Illinois and the rest of the year. Just finish this terrible season already. I hope Illinois feels the same way this weekend. If Iowa wins out they still have a very, very outside chance of getting a share of the Big Ten Title (However that would require beating Penn State, having MSU or Indiana beat PSU and then having someone beat OSU).

    i don't think texas is on your schedule this year. in other news, washington has 46 total yards about 5 minutes into the 4th quarter :-)) Ok, maybe not number one, but Texas could very well lose next week and if PSU wins they could jump Alabama.

    Just goes to show you how bad the ACC is. Dukie did beat Vandy! and UVA! its not impossible for Duke to be bowl-eligible. They are 4-3 with an OK schedule left. @ Wake, vs. NC State, at Clemson, at Virginia Tech, vs. UNC. I think they'll beat State, and they can sneak one of the other games out. When was Duke's last bowl game? Spurrier's regime? yea Vs Wisconsin in the outback bowl in the mid 90's?

    I'm sure they won't call a World Series game, I remember the Yankees and Rangers played a game starting at about midnight or something like that.

    How!?!? Honestly? Probably, mostly, unrealistic optimism. I just took a glance at the schedule and saw 20 games that, I thought, they had a good shot of winning. However, with the increase of the Big Ten Schedule and playing multiple pre-season tournaments, they play a lot of games so getting to 20 wins isn't completely out of the question, it probably wouldn't be that big a of an accomplishment however. Will I be wrong? Probably, but I have a good feeling about Iowa basketball this year, last year they had nobody and a couple of teams they had no chance beating, now they have some decent unknown players, not the highest recuriting class, but I think decent. I guess I have a lot of faith in the coaching staff.

    roloson is pretty bad at this point. he's had some nice runs but he's old now. I see, I just got back into hockey last year after watching it a lot a couple years before the lockout and then not really paying much attention after the lock out so my litmus test for if a player is good (outside of Blackhawks players) is if I have heard of the player or not.

    Hawks really should be up by 3 by now. Roloson's a pretty good goalie though isn't he?

    I've been to Notre Dame and Ball State football and basketball games probably upwards of 80 times between them and have yet to lose the excitement out of any of them... I do think 81 Cubs games would probably make it slightly less exciting though. I guess I phrased that wrong, it is still exciting for me, I just don't get the little kid waking up on Christmas morning feeling.
