  1. That's not a nice welcome back.
  2. I think if Oswalt hits him he should be tossed immediately since it would be obviously intentional. I'd be pissed if Soriano broke his hand because the Astros got upset over an over the top celebration when they happen all the time in baseball now a days, and their own damn closer does it himself.
  3. If Soriano gets plunked I bet the pitcher gets tossed because it'd be the most obvious thing ever.
  4. I was pretty upset when he was sent to the minors so soon last year. Looks like I was proven wrong.
  5. I don't understand a lot of the way MLB's transactions system works. What does any of this mean (aside from KC losing the All Star Game. I get that part?)
  6. I agree. Both his fastball and his curve looked really tough to hit.
  7. No, YOU couldn't. I have a feeling that his team would have similarities to a Steve Phillips run team.
  8. I'm sure he's used to it. Maybe we should find a way to plunk Valverde.
  9. I like beating the best pitcher on the other team.
  10. I like those bloop Soriano walk offs.
  11. End it Milton (unless they walk you, then end it Soriano).
  12. Lee, Ramirez and Bradley. This is the inning to win it here. With Berg coming in I think we lose if we don't score and win (obviously if we do this inning). This is the inning that decides it.
  13. Tejada and Lee are each going to get a shot to get a hit (ok Lee will probably be walked). It probably ends here.
  14. It'd be really nice to score. The winds blowing out, you'd think we could get one.
  15. It seems as though it would have been easier to hit a ball in play that would have scored one run in multiple at bats than it would be for a guy to lay down a bunt on one pitch when he doesn't do it that often. That squeeze call just made no since.
  16. He's amazing but that would be really pointless for the Sox.
  17. Actually I am fine if he keeps doing that, because if he continues to hit .200 there is no way he will be brought back up. So, keep up the good work Aaron. This was my thinking as well. He's helping the team by not hitting AAA pitching.
  18. I love playoff races in baseball. I cheered for that grand slam as if a Cub had hit it.
  19. Ludwick homered. It's 3-1.
  20. Season Over. (Pulls out shotgun and places it in mouth.)
  21. To be fair we've had our share of successful pitchers that weren't expected to be. We had some pretty successful pitching from freaking Glendon Rusch in 2004 and Ryan Dempster became a border line Cy Young candidate for us last year.
  22. I like Theriot as an offensive player. He's never going slug that much (obviously) but your entire line up isn't going to be filled with guys who get on base and slug as there aren't too many around. Theriot in the field and on the bases, however, infuriates me to no end.
  23. They got him into the Cardinals offensive scheme damn fast, eh? And it, of course, leads to a run.
  24. He's probably too busy being a weak minded wussy.
  25. If you were in a hotel room and the room next door had the White Sox game on really loud and you heard Hawks call, what exactly would be going through your mind? His call sounds uncomfortably orgasmic.
