  1. I....uh....never defended the officials, I just said that it wasn't that impactful but I guess that's more ridiculous than complaining that I lost that dollar I was going to use to buy that lottery ticket for a lottery that I probably wasn't going to win anyways. I suppose though that I have bitched about calls before that weren't very impactful myself so I suppose I understand where you all are coming from.
  2. Right but your asking for a recovered onside kick with receivers who have showed bad hands for a lot of the game, the offensive line to hold up(which they did most of the game but still) and for Cutler to throw accurate passes most of the game. I mean the Bears longest play in the 2nd half was 6 plays. I just don't see how the Bears would have tied or won that game given what was taken place in the game. Too me it's just people complaining that the Bears didn't win by 3 instead of 10. again: SHANE MATTHEWS. its been done. he's clearly not getting the point that anything can happen in the nfl...also, i imagine he would feel differently if the tables were turned and the packers were [expletive] on that call. Yep...that's it, because I'm clearly a Packers homer.
  3. What's the point of the NFL's instant replay rule? Where the booth is the only ones that can review a scoring play?

  5. Yeah, whoever heard of a team getting a field goal after recovering an onside kick with only a minute to get 25 yards? No, the Bears probably wouldn't have won, but your post is ridiculous. Because excessive bitching about a call that kept the Bears from having a .01 chance of winning the game isn't. Complain about the not PI call against Hester, that had more impact on the game than the punt return no call.
  6. You guys must be getting ready for some tie breaking scenario that utilizes margin of victory because that's the only reason that call would even matter.
  7. The Bears never lose to good teams.
  8. I'm impressed with our clock management.
  9. Both players were dumb on that play but Hester was dumber.
  10. 1st and 25. I bet you guys get it.
  11. [expletive] you guys are lulling me into a false sense of security.
  12. yeah good joke. first play sack, of course. packers by 21 I'm not too worried about your offense but your defense is really good and we never play well against it.
  13. I'm not too confident as a Green Bay fan. The pass defense is still struggling and then my last memory of the Bears is them shutting down the Packers offense in the second half of the NFC title game last year I'm worried that a 7 point lead won't be enough. We've had no pressure at all and that concerns be big time.
  14. Why is Green Bay trying to run against a great run defense when they have one of the best QB's in the league?
  15. A little revisionist history you got going here? ?
  16. Last two games here Green Bay has jumped out to a two score lead and the Bears have fought back to win and make it a game. I don't know why you guys are giving up.
  17. i'm in packers country so i have nothing to worry about. I may be close enough to Chicago to have no issues too as it looks like they are cutting to the game.
  18. Is passing defense completely dead in the NFL? These games and yardage totals are ridiculous for the most part.
  19. Hope the Minn/Det game doesn't go to OT.
  20. While the Lions losing probably helps my team more I can't help but enjoy watching the Vikings choke.
  21. Bills lead.
  22. Wow, Buffalo tied New England.
  23. The Vikings out thought themselves there. Sure everyone knew Peterson was going to get it but how many times has he gained positive yardage when the opponent knew he was going to get it?
  24. Every third down he seems overly surprised that Vikings fans are making noise.
  25. Hey, the Vikings are choking again.
