Being in charge of baseball operations for the Cubs (or any other team) would pretty much be my dream job so I'd say I agree. -
Why even watch if it makes one this miserable? I don't get it.

I'm off Thursday and I plan on getting wasted while watching this team. Probably the best way to enjoy them.

He was terrible. Not surprised and his stats showed he was but still, I'm happy that he should have time to get into rhythm by the playoffs, that is if he doesn't get hurt again and still can be a productive player on that kind of stage.

I'm glad I don't have to watch Bulls games now the rest of the season/playoffs. I guess I'll find something more productive to do with my time.

I hope Philly beats out Boston for the division. I'd rather Miami have to go through Orlando and Boston in the first two rounds than get Philly in the first round (not that I really think either would beat them but I really think Boston will be a tougher in the playoffs than in the regular season).

They are only in front of Milwaukee by 4 games. Missing the playoffs wouldn't be impossible for them at all.

I kind of like our starting pitching, I don't think the bullpen is as bad as people are making it out to be, the bench looks pretty bad to me and I hope that line up can find a way to produce some average offense. I'm excited as hell for next week.

I went through about 4 different changes of emotion in the time period that Watson's shot was block to Deng's put back. I thought he fouled and relaxed because I thought they called it, then I was pissed because they were playing on and it was obvious they didn't call it then I felt pure jubilation when the put back went in than I was fearful because I thought they weren't going to allow it.

Teams are going to lose to bad teams but it's really annoying that it keeps happening at home.

I wanted them to win the World Series as a Wild Card so it wouldn't be all 0's

Top 5, IMO ... I'm honestly having trouble thinking of a more memorable moment if that had gone in. Jordans shot against Russell, ruths called shot, Buckner ball, fluties hail mary, that's all I got. Duh Laettners shot. Hayward's hypothetical shot >>> Laettner's I would take Hayward's over all of those because it would have won the National Title and because he missed, they lost. While Jordan's won the game and the title, it was Game 6 so even if he missed, the Bulls could still win Game 7. Ruth's called shot was in Game 3 of a sweep. Buckner's was Game 6. Flutie's hail mary was a regular season game. Laettner's was an Elite 8 game. Mazeroski's HR in Game 7 to win the World Series is up there also, though that game was tied when he hit it. Is Mazeroski in the hall of fame if he doesn't hit that homer? I doubt it. That home run gave an individual a lot of accolades compared to individual moments.

I would be fine with it occasionally, but it should at least be 2/3 or 3/4 at home. No one (at least almost no one) does a true home and home with mid-major's. On the other hand UNI is probably the best team in the state the past decade. I don't have a problem playing them home and home. Drake is pretty much useless to both schools aside from one year.
