I liked this starting staff coming in and they are pitching well. Hope it continues. -
I don't think I buy a guy being able to not only make a top level league but be one of the best in that league without taking your job seriously in some capacity. To say that Dwight just wants to have fun is a bit of an overstatement in my eye, the dude clearly works hard.

Forget that "Blowing up the team" stuff. We're 0-2 when we could be 2-0 and that sucks no matter what type of season was expected. -
Why? There were 2 camera angles that pretty clearly showed that the tip of his shoe was on the line. Didn't really think it was conclusive. Rondo misses a wide open shot, nice. Bulls win.

It sucks to lose on opening day. A lot but the fact is, even if they signed a bunch of players who could have helped us win it all this year, we still could have lost today. We lost .006 of our games this year. Whatever.

dempster was masterful after the 1st. and bill murray was hilarious in the booth. all in all not the worst possible day watching cubs baseball The 2008 Cubs lost on opening day so there's that.

Why is that pitch a strike but the 97 borderline pitches Dempster had were balls?

I'm not too optimistic about the offense, but we were up against Strausburg with the wind howling in True, so 1 run actually exceeds expectations.

The cubs have scored 1 run, I just have a hard time blaming the BP when that happens.
