  1. Wonder what the record for consecutive double digit game is
  2. This thing is getting more and more wide open. That’s fun.
  3. If the Reds want to annoy the crap out the brewers that’d be nice. Ending a 2-6 stretch 1.5 games out isn’t the worst thing
  4. Why does it take an hour to make a decision on a call in June?
  5. A series win is fine and it’s easier to handle a gut wrenching loss when you still win the series but a sweep woulda been fun. Oh well, first place at the end of the day would also be fun
  6. The signing of Harper will be perfect though
  7. Joe wants to pitch his worst pitcher in back to back days to continue his being innovative and cool streak
  8. I like the excitement he has during big plays
  9. I’m pulling for Mexico. This is life and death for their fans it seems. Plus, I like underdogs and I’m not into soccer enough to be deep into the US/Mexico rivalry. Also, Trump and current American political climate make me side with them a little more
  10. It’s been fun so far.
  11. Even if it's true, I don't really know that I'd agree with it being 'concerning'. Over 162 games, even if they (continue) play(ing) super hot/cold...it should balance out enough for our true talent level to win us the division. Once October starts, isn't it usually a matter of what team gets hot? There is, granted, a ton of time between now and October, but the playoffs are ideally 3-plus weeks long and it would not bode well for us to win if the wacky up-and-down play were going on then. That’s kind of what we did in the World Series though
  12. We are really breaking this down. I’ll try again. The Cubs go though pretty decent stretches where they are being shutdown by (fill in the blank) average starting pitchers. The Cubs have too many good players and I expect no stretches like that because they are awesome. Then you don't really understand how baseball works, and you're going to generally not enjoy watching it. I certainly didn’t enjoy watching the past two crapfests
  13. Cubs/brewers are mostly the same. Low scoring suck fests where the cubs win late because the brewers do dumb things. Let’s get to the dumb brewers part
  14. Even if we win this game and series I will have found the whole thing frustrating
  15. I should be happy we’ve kinda slumped offensively for a while but still win but the low scoring stuff is frustrating, even with the consistent winning. Maybe I’m spoiled by this era of Cubs
  16. I accept Chatwood sucks but why can’t we hit?
  17. I’ll be convinced a cubs/brewers game isn’t a close, scoring game (or extra inning game) when I see it. Score a lot of runs off these idiots
  18. Our offense being butt recently makes it feel like we’re not playing well even though we keep winning
  19. Taking Kyle out early feels extra neat now
  20. If what I saw is current the cubs are 5th in baseball in runs scored.
