Do you have a scouting report for Eric Erickson? All I know is that he was all-freshman a few years ago and had TJS recently. I don't have a scouting report, but I do have a lecture for his parents. If your last name is Erickson, DO NOT NAME YOUR FREAKIN' KID ERIC! But, at least thanks for not naming him Erick. Do you plan on giving that same lecture to Dan McDaniel's parents? Depends on whether Dan is short for Danica, Dante or Daniel. Daniel McDaniel is hilarious.

I believe is selling high, and Wells' value is pretty high right now, but I wouldn't trade him for Bell straight up. -
They have some pieces we could acquire that might not cost much. Clint Barmes and Ryan Spilborghs wouldn't necessarily come cheap but I don't think the Rockies would ask for a king's ransom. The same goes for Huston Street. I'm just spitballing here for ideas, but the Rockies are seven games out of first and I can't see them catching the Dodgers. Discuss.

We need a second baseman and consistency in the bullpen. A-Ram coming back helps, but I think something still needs to be done. Unfortunately, the pending sale leaves our hands tied basically.

Knowing the Marlins, something along the lines of Marshall, Soto, Marmol, Vitters, Carpenter, Jackson, and Cashner ought to get that deal done. Don't forget Jim Hendry's dignity, or did he send that in the Steve Trachsel deal as well?

Am I the only one who wasn't aware we had John-Ford Griffin? I remember when he was a top prospect for the Yankees/Jays. But back to the thread. Yeah, it would be a dream for someone to take Miles off our hands but at this point we'd either have to take a bad salary in return or a mediocre minor leaguer.
