  1. Yeah, I'd love to see what Fox could do up here but there's no room for him and he doesn't really have a position, unless we trade him to the AL and he acts as a DH.
  2. Not horrible then. At least Freel is more useful to the team than Gathright.
  3. A few years ago, yes. However, he's older and not very good anymore. He's a more versatile Aaron Miles at this point.
  4. AJ Hinch named interim manager. I forgot he ever existed.
  5. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slug=jp-ibanez050609&prov=yhoo&type=lgns And this little tidbit about the Phils' GM:
  6. Maurice Evans signs with the Giants. He can team with Jay Alford on the bench. Really good decision to leave early.
  7. Just thought I'd throw in my two cents. Titans- Pleasantly surprised. Britt is a solid fit for the system. Marks could develop into Big Al's replacement. Cook could be a good pass catcher and Mouton was a solid sleeper in the mid rounds. Ringer could step in as LenWhale's replacement after next season. Vikings- Also very happy. Harvin opens up a lot of options, and Loadholt could start right away. They got some great value here.
  8. Love the Titans' Round 2 pick. Marks is a very athletic and talented. Not as big as you want a DT to be, but he should be pretty solid. I'm pleasantly surprised with their draft so far.
  9. Nice pick, Vikes. I love that they're listening to me. I wanted Harvin, they took him. I wanted Loadholt, they took him. Solid draft so far.
  10. I really thought Maualuga would go first of all the USC linebackers.
  11. I could do nothing but laugh when they showed Beanie Wells on the phone during the Titans' pick. I like the Britt pick, though. Technically I would have preferred Rey Maualuga (top choice) or Darius Butler/Alphonso Smith, but I'm quite happy with Britt. Now for Marcus Freeman or DJ Moore in the second round and this will be a great day. I was talking with one of my friends, who is also a fellow Titans fan, and joked we'd take Beanie because we are that stupid. Then they showed him on his phone 30 seconds later and we were livid. We were ready to go to Nashville and light ourselves on fire in protest, monk-style. I really like the pick. He's a good, strong receiver and I think he'll fit well in the system.
  12. We actually made a good first round pick. I might have a heart attack.
  13. Or their line. I was sure they'd draft an O-lineman, especially with Oher still there.
  14. Good pick. They love Harvin, they need another WR.
  15. Vikings need help in the secondary: DJ Moore, CB, Vandy
  16. Didn't the season just start? Geez.
  17. http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/index.php/free-matt-murton/ He does belong in the majors.
  18. So, last time I went with a CB, which is a need. I'll go different this time. The Vikes lost out on a big name WR this offseason and will clearly look for one in the first round if someone is available. One is, and they are known to like him, so: With the 22nd pick, the Minnesota Vikings select Percy Harvin, WR, Florida
