    liar liar pants on fire. If they lose I wouldn't care... just love Staal/Cole would like to see more of them this post season. I like Savard/Thomas on Boston as well. I usually just root for players in the East not whole teams (except the Rangers in the Playoffs)

    Doh, it starts at 8:00... which is actually good for me. In the last 10 minutes of the post-game show on XM radio (the Vancouver feed) they were talking about it and said the Hawks expect Obama to be there. I can't imagine him going to the Hawks game and NOT dropping the puck.

    The Penguins have really stepped it up it looks like. It's also good to see Crosby getting "legit" points in my eyes... he's really showing his true talent and really bitched to the refs a minimal amount. Semin needs to stop being so jittery with the puck or his turnovers are going to cost the Caps the series. Gonchar is out and they need to exploit that. I see Carolina wrapping up the series tonight... the Bruins look like they've known this series is over for awhile. Homerism in me sees it as an inevitable Hawks/Wings Conference Finals that goes to 7 games, so I think the Wings are going to destroy the Ducks today... lots of penalties and misconducts in that one. I'll be at the Hawks game tomorrow and since January 1st, 2009 I am 6-0 at Chicago sporting events I attend, so I know they'll wrap it up tomorrow... I just hope the noise that we're going to make in the UC doesn't make it collapse! Go Hawks! Go Wings! Go Canes! Go Caps!

    "It's great to finally be in the second round" - Orlando Magic Forward Tracy McGrady, while his team led the Detroit Pistons 3 games to 1. Detroit ends up winning the series 4-3. WHOA pump the breaks... i am undefeated this year at chicago sporting events.... i do not expect that to change for me at the uc on monday!!

    This game is HUGE... got people comin over for this one so I won't be posting except for during intermissions. ALSO... I AM going to the game on Monday!!!!!!

    They aren't going to win unless they play the way they are playing. At this point in the playoffs every team they will face will have a much better offense than they do, so they are going to have to rely on Luongo and defense. This worked in the old NHL fine (see the devils and stars) but now it is much much harder to play that way. Dude in game 3... the Canucks couldn't even tell you waht the word forecheck means. No joke... all they did was dump and then have all their skaters go stand behind their blue line. Worst form of hockey to watch... It is smart and it is effective if all 5 of your skaters know what they're doing, but it's really just wussy crap. Once they got the 1-0 lead in game 4 they tried the same crap and it worked all the way til 5 minutes left in the game.

    Got softball tonight FINALLY so I'll miss this one but I have it recorded... should be great... I bet there's a point a piece for Crosby and Ovechkin AGAIN.

    The TRUE trap is the most awful thing in hockey and we saw it in game 3. When you have ZERO guys back on the "forecheck" you know you're a sad human being.
