Feel free to ask direct questions... we have a lot of hockey nuts here that will answer any question. The more people who wrap their arms around the Blackhawks, the better. Hockey is a beautiful sport... just not understood by many. EDIT: Love the sig ;)

no, there was no whistle. it either has to be interference, which wasnt called, or a good goal. it's hiller's fault for letting the centering pass get behind his pads, of course the offensive player is going to keep jabbing at it when that happens. learn how to dump the puck in, ducks. The names you are going to hear that are left: Hawks: Kane/Toews/Havlat (mainly)... on defense... Seabrook/Keith. Really, there isn't a weak player on the Hawks except for Matt Walker, just hate him now and be like the rest of us. Penguins: Crosby/Malkin... on defense... Gonchar. These are the only two I can say for now because we have two game 7s going on right now... I'll update the winner's big players once these games go final. Other then that... the NHL has a W-L-OTL (Win-Loss-Overtime Loss) setup for the regular season. 2 points for a win, 0 points for a loss, 1 point for a loss in overtime/shootout. There are 6 divisions (3 in each conference west/east). The playoff seeding works like this: 3 division winners automatically are 1-2-3 based on point totals (W-L-OTL)... the next 5 highest point totals also advance. Hawks had 104 points and Canucks had 100 points yet the Canucks were a higher seed because they won their division. Seeding is like NBA 1-8 2-7 3-6 4-5 and they reseed after every round. In the regular season OVERTIME is 4 v 4, sudden death and 5:00 long, if no one scores... it goes to a shootout (best of 3). In the playoffs, it is 5 v 5 and 20:00 long like a regular period. There IS NO SHOOTOUT, and OTs will go until it is finished. Kinda bland to explain the basics, if you ask more questions I can answer them... too much info to describe it all, haha.

Well this is kind of a fun night in playoff hockey. I was actually guessing the only blowout of the 3 game 7s would be Boston/Carolina. Instead... the Canes lead 2-1... and it's looking more and more like OT for the Ducks/Wings... just what the doctor ordered for us!

Having two 5 v 3's and not scoring on either of them isn't exactly a good way to win a hockey game. See Hawks/Rangers earlier in the regular season. I think we had FIVE? 5 v 3s... that was a tough game to watch. We lost 4-2 I believe.

Ducks REALLY need to score here on their SECOND 5 v 3.
