    Actually MBC... this is the kind of hockey game I love. Either let them play, or be consistent. They've allowed them to play physical and have been calling the technical penalties like hooking/slashing. Although, I think that was a Franzen dive... I like how they're letting the boys play in a game 7.

    It wasn't the playoffs, but a few years back, the Blues were a lock for the worst record in the league and at the end of the last game of the season against the Wings, they just started throwing down on everyone. It was classless and pointless, but it happened. Frustrations boil over... the Caps don't have any goons anyways. Was just a boring hockey game after midway through the 2nd period.

    Honestly, I can hardly tell anymore. Toews-Kane-Brouwer Sharp-Havlat-Pahlsson Byfuglien-Bolland-Versteeg Eager-Burish-Ladd It's too early, my brain isn't working. But that's my best stab at what I've seen out there, at least in the Vancouver series. But I've seen Eager out there with 19-88, and various other combinations. You think they'd split up Ladd-Bolland-Havlat? Been a damn good line... who knows with Q, though.

    i don't think you understand how hockey works. Please enlighten me, father. Most goonery is to set the tone for the next game. I know that... and I've also seen frustrations show after a shellacking in the playoffs when your season is finally going to be over.

    I couldn't understand his Spanglish to be honest when I heard his press conference. Once I got the transcript it was pretty funny.

    According to HFBoards regarding the conference finals: I will check my TiVo in a bit, anyone with DirecTV please check yours... I am going to be pissed if the Hawks have to play a back to back... However... If the Bruins win tomorrow, the Garden is booked for Sunday for the Celtics... which would obviously mean the Hawks/Ducks/Wings series would have to start Sunday.

    I hope it starts Saturday and the ECF starts Sunday (the two game 7s getting the extra days rest). That would be logical but I heard this morning that it looks like they'll go Sunday. We'll know after tomorrow night! Gotcha, thanks. And perhaps this belongs in the other thread, but it is absolutely disgraceful that the NHL can't find a way to air both Game 7s tomorrow night in their entirety. Versus will be joining the second game in progress. What a terrible situation. Yep... have the BOS/CAR game on @ 6:30 EST and ANA/DET on @ 9:00 EST... we started that late at home when we played the Flames.
