That should lock down the 4th seed, barring a ridiculous run by any of the seven teams within 5 points of each other between 5th and 11th. 17 home games, 11 on the road. Only one game (Dallas on Saturday) west of Chicago. Tough road games at Boston and Montreal. Otherwise a whole lot of home cooking. I think something like 16-10-2 is likely. That would be fine. I'm still cautiously optimistic, but man I can't wait for some playoff hockey. I remember how excited I was in 2001-02, only to have that colossal offensive failure against the Blues. Last time they were in the playoffs I wasn't even old enough for some playoff peach fuzz (14), can't wait for my first playoff beard growing experience!
