no idea how nico is hitting for such a high average lately with some of his swing choices
-
busch has to lead MLB in warning track outs. not the best day for this umpiring crew.
-
take. him. out.
-
yikes garbage start for holmes
-
not sure they deserved to win that one, but atta boy zeferjahn.
-
13 hits, 6 walks + a HBP and 6 runs. gross.
-
yikes pedro
-
good job zeferjahn, good job bregman
-
not tacking on vs the guy who had an era of 5.00 at AAA surely won’t bite them
-
ok enough of him please
-
that marlins reliever has given up ONE hr in 59 innings. why can’t the cubs have one of those guys.
-
conine’s first xbh vs a lefty all season lol
-
brought in to face a guy with a .460 OPS vs lefties and he gives up an upper deck bomb. just no reason for him to be on the team.
-
can this guy not be on the team anymore please
-
what about the first AND third out at 3b?
-
lol ok two
-
trying to do at least one dumb ass thing per inning
-
PCA getting on base and not attempting a steal is very annoying
-
1st and 2nd, no outs…one pitch later, inning over. hard to do!
-
hilarious how uneventful the last 6 outs were. baseball is truly the dumbest sport.
-
just gotta hope the Vaughn 9th inning homer doesn’t give them the lead
-
horsefeathers it zeferjahn is our best reliever. leave him in for the 9th.
-
ah we’re doing the “whole offense sucks except PCA” thing tonight
-
busch hitting so close to PCA in the lineup really emphasizes how much busch sucks.

i guess the "good" news is the cubs are done with the dbacks and padres so they can't be swept by either one and lose three games in the standings in the blink of an eye. if i remember right, the dbacks just kept beating the cubs head to head in 2023. pathetic that this is how we have to look at things at this point...
